Add me to the list of folks unable to get the launcher to actually launch.
When I first open the launcher and put in my password, it tries "Connecting to Account Server" and then resets my password. If I re-enter my password it then simply gets stuck "Connecting to Account Server". Using the Champions Online launcher does the same thing.
Any word on when this might get fixed?

But the thing I love most is how short a time the game it down for maintenance. I know most of the time you hear us do nothing but complain, so Thanks for spoiling us to all the STO Team
Maintenance lasting 7-9:30am is much nice than 3-11am followed by an extention to 3pm on a regular basis.
You are the only game I know of that doesn't close the entire game down for a day or more to release new content. You rock!! :cool:

UPDATE 9:22 am PDT: We will be extending maintenance for one hour to work through final issues. New ETA on servers going up is 10:30 am PDT.
UPDATE 8:44 am PDT: The original estimate on maintenance was reported incorrectly. Maintenance should be completed by 9:30 am PDT.
UPDATE 7:04 am PDT: Maintenance has now begun. Expected downtime is two hours. We'll post an update on this thread when maintenance has completed.

Glad it wasn't my imagination when i noticed the extended time.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

I saw that they extended an hour just now, but even that is better than three :rolleyes: Plus it gives me a chance to hang out for a while with people I haven't met yet in the game. I hear we have a 'few' more players now. I think I know where a few thousand came from.. the same game I played and am leaving after 6 continuous year.. It's so nice to have lifetime.
KDF Tholian Orb Weaver tier 5u captains are at 6 months without sensor analysis. Six months to leave a broken lockbox ship unrepaired. Disappointed we're still waiting.
for a broken ship they sure are expensive doesnt seem to me due to exchange prices that anyone cares if the orb weaver is borked or not :rolleyes:
