How to turn off Warp Trails in STO

I'm not sure if this has been brought up before or not. I hope this will help the STO players on how to be immersed in STO bit better.

Options > Graphics> Visual FX Quality> Low >Apply. then beam to your ship. also beam to your bridge and back if in space already. that should help you guys.

    why in the world would you want to turn off warp trails?.. my only complaint about S10's new Sector Space is that the warp trails are way more dim than they used to be up close to the ship then get bright in the middle of the trail when they should start bright and dim off into the distance...
    the warp trails make sense for immersion as since you're moving fast you leave a trail behind of the lights on your ship, in particular the engine lights as they're the brightest lights on the ships... but, if this is advice for people that it causes graphical issues with then ok, that makes sense...

    why would I want to shut them off? cause they are dumb... the end
