Sorry, but I am so done with anything Rebels related since the Episode VII trailer. TRIBBLE Ashoka Lives, TRIBBLE the Inquisitor's double swivel saber, TRIBBLE Freddie Prince Jr. I am 100000000000000% invested in "Chewie, we're home."
NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.

Heck, even in the Episode VII trailer they had a Darth Vader reference. There is always time for more Darth Vader. :P
They had to sell tickets so they went with nostalgia which included keeping the Empire versus Rebels thing alive and well after 30+ years.
Lack of originality.
Yeah, because real wars always end the very hour after the main head dies and everyone just parties without fear of enemy retaliation. Why, I remember when we killed Bin Laden, the soldiers all came home and we haven't returned to the Middle East since!

In the only canon I care about, Chewie died years ago.
I do include rebels in my head canon though, and season 2 looks amazing ... 5 EC says Ahsoka distracts Vader to save everyone in that fight scene.
My son and I started watching this. I'm probably more looking forward to this than Ep VII.

I actually met the actor who played as Darth Vader, you know the actual person in the suit. Very nice person. And I wonder what would win in a fight between an AT-TE and a AT-AT.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.
UGH that was soooo painful to watch! The CG Animation was horrendous. Even the Clone Wars cartoon had higher standards - heck, Genndy Tartakovsky's Clone Wars cartoon movies, at least they had style, you know? Even though they weren't CG. The style shown in the OP's clip is just bland, boring, and plain.
Then again, what do you expect from Disney XD, you know? How can anyone honestly get excited about this watered-down garbage?
Also, when did it become cool to indoctrinate our children into the same mass-media intellectual properties we enjoyed as children? Star Wars, Star Trek, TMNT, Transformers, the list goes on . . .
When did it become cool for kids to like stuff their parents liked? When I was growing up, the last thing I wanted to be associated with was anything my parents liked #Rebel But, then again, when I was growing up, we had rock stars that played from their hearts and actually set examples for rebellion - now kids have pop-stars dropping Ex and having furry-*** or driinking sizzurp and egging their rich neighbors' houses setting benchmarks of #Rebellion
Furthermore, I think a LOT of people are just trying to re-capture the excitement and joy they experienced in their youth through their children's eyes as their children watch watered-down soul-less versions of the stuff THEY watched as kids. It's like these grown adults are living vicariously through their children, re-hashing old media which has already made ton of money, which limits any new ideas and new cool stuff for their children to watch. These kids will never have their own (true) versions of Star Trek or Star Wars, their own "thing" for their generation because we're too obsessed with "passing on" re-cycled, hand-me-down entertainment.
But, you know, who cares about new and interesting ideas that expand our children's imaginations, that they can claim for their own generation, as long as we feel good about ourselves as parents and can re-live the joy of our childhoods by imprinting ours onto our kids?
It's sick. I hope your children hate this TRIBBLE and really #Rebel

Well, I think I smell a troll, but if not,
First, some things are timeless. I'm a huge X-Men fan, and that series has been around since the '60's. Superman has been around even longer, though I personally find him boring. It's not that companies are out of ideas, they are simply offering new takes on these timeless stories so that a new generation can enjoy them as much as we did, as much as OUR parents did, in some cases as much as our GRAND parents did.
Second, even though it's on Disney XD, I can guarantee there is a decent amount of adult viewers, which includes me, because of the franchise. I watched the whole first season of TMNT as well, though only caught a couple episodes of season 2.
Finally, while I respect your opinion, I personally feel the animation is great, on par with any CGI tv show.
<i hate star wars rebels because its a cartoon, so i will overplay my hand, just because i can>
good thing that is just your opinion :P.
i dont mind rebels but its just a little too grandiose almost all the time throughout season 1. but having some more enemies who can pile in the pressure and give the rebels series a needed boost i have no problem with. thats all i have wrong about it. i hardly get to watch cartoons and im 27. last time outside tcw where i watched cartoons was on bbc1 back in the early 2000's when they had 2 hours and a bit from 3pm to 5:30pm for childrens stuff, was in my early teenage years back then. dont remember what it was but by 6pm it was star trek tng on bbc 2 followed by robot wars stright after. anyways enough trailling off topic.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

And since you mentioned the trailer, I'll just leave this here.
Me too I think; but only because, between Ep VII and Battlefront, I'm getting tired of being told to wait 'till December for my Star Wars fix.
Rome did not fall in a day
Hey guys the Emperor is dead, and we are broke from building two Death Starts....Well looks like the War is over.
I mean we have a TRIBBLE tone of troops, and ships that span a whole Galaxy, but nope we give up now
Robot Chicken explained it best.
