What is the Solanae Fleet?
The Solanae Fleet is a small fleet with a big future. The fleet started out on stardate 92166.64 with a few people, including @mrsupreme2, @megertron3, and myself. Since then, we have been looking for anyone, ensign or admiral, Lifetime sub or silver member, to join. The fleet consists of about 40 people, an because of that our fleet facilities are still at rank 0. However, with your help, we could get max tier in no time!

What does the Solanae Fleet do?
Originally, when the gateway near the Jouret System was discovered, the few people in the Solanae fleet wanted to protect the allied part of the Solanae sphere and the Beta Quadrant from the Voth. We were also dedicated to learning more about the mysterious Iconian and Solanae technology that lies within the sphere. Soon enough, however, we were called to repel the Undine and eventually moderate and defend the sun base to the Jenolean Sphere in the Delta quadrant and its exit. Now, our defence, exploration, and research has gotten us far throughout all three quadrants and both spheres. We are currently focusing a lot of our research on the Iconian System and the sphere next to it. We hope to find a weakness in the Iconians that could win the war for us.

Can I get into the Solanae Fleet? How? What happens when I do?
Anyone in the Federation or Romulan-Federation factions can join (Klingon fleet coming soon!) You could be just starting the game or a fleet admiral! If you want to join, search "solanae fleet" in the fleet search and ask someone who's in the fleet, message @andycman in STO or arc, or see our website, solanaefleet.blogspot.com for more help. We prefer if you are a dedicated player of STO who is willing to contribute to fleet projects and funds in the bank.When you join, you get access to a variety of Solanae uniforms that could be modified to fit what you like. You also get some access to the fleet bank. The first 100 people to join the fleet will get instantly promoted up a rank!

What about fleet events and other fleet features?
We are in progress of making various PvP and PvE events for the weekends when you aren't busy. When you donate to the fleet, you unlock cool features like special ships and cool costumes. Depending on how much you donate, you could get promoted every month up to Iconian Engineer. Promotions mean more EC from the fleet bank, access to more bank repositories, and more. I also send out an in-game newsletter every month or so stating what we should work on and how the fleet is doing.

One last thing: Because of the Iconian War and such, we are thinking of changing our fleet name to something more related to the Iconian War. When you join, make sure to say whether or not we should keep or change the name.
