T6 neg'var and T5 bort bundle

I was thinking since the neg'var only has the T6 cstore version and its the predecessor to the bort, would you guys be in favor of linking the consoles from the 4 ships? The neg'var with the disruptor barrage coming out of the cannon pods would look pretty epic. This would give the Bort bundle and the T6 negvar a lil more appeal to buy if only slightly.

Idea is to match the fact that the D'D and Galaxy both get console bonus sets. Another option would be the other T6 ships with consoles and no set, like the Mat'ha raptor and the qib.

And ya I know most people sideline the special consoles in favor of normal consoles. This isn't about that, so please keep comments on topic.

What do you guys think, and what would be other ideas for the ships.

The T6 Negh'tev/Negh'var is so much better than the bort bundle will ever be. The T6 ship wasn't dictated by the other factions demands is the biggest difference. That and the T6 ship is pretty much canon where as the bortasqu' was actually just a copy of a ship from another game that was changed a little bit to try to make it appear klingon.

I wouldn't be saddened or pissed off if the bortasqu' was removed or revamped because you really never see them being used unless someone is really really bored or doesn't know its junk.

Where would you put the Hoh'SuS? The Bortasqu' was specifically designed to carry it, not the Negh'tev.

Honestly I'd prefer to just see the Bortasqu' get a T6 revamp. The Negh'tev is a completely different ship and stands on its own just fine.

While I agree with Varient that the bort and negh'var should remain separate....

A disruptor barrage coming from the under-slung pods would look quite awesome.

It could be like the lower portion of the Elachi Dreadnaught. When that console is put on one of the other Elachi ships, it still summons the ship, but the ship flys in instead of detaches. Likewise, a Hoh'sus console on the Negh'Var could cause the ship to warp in.

Given that the Bortas set is already that, linking in the Negh'tev - especially with the BoP console - would be unwieldy. Plus, you'd need to apply the same logic to the Oddyssey and Scimitar sets.

It's been posted here before, but a much more logical option would be to form a set with the other, lower-tier C-store Battlecruisers, the Vor'Kang and Koro't'inga. Heck, the Vor'Kang's special console (the Isometric Charge) is an NPC Negh'var ability! This is the closest mirror going to the way that the other T6 iconic ships synergise with their lower-tier cousins.
