The timing of downtime is usually the same as GMT from what i have seen.
So far there seems to be some delay, or cryptic have got their times wrong.

It's 16:12 GMT/UTC (14:00-16:30) ... so nope 18min to go ... feels like Deja Vu ... could have sworn I read the exact same thing last week ...

... again http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_saving_time, so local time in the UK means squat ...

    Same here.
STO is about my Liberated Borg Federation Captain with his Breen 1st Officer, Jem'Hadar Tactical Officer, Liberated Borg Engineering Officer, Android Ops Officer, Photonic Science Officer, Gorn Science Officer, and Reman Medical Officer jumping into their Jem'Hadar Carrier and flying off to do missions for the new Romulan Empire. But for some players allowing a T5 Connie to be used breaks the canon in the game.

Well, technically, Cryptic's converted time is inaccurate, so I do see where these folks are coming from.

Okay, maybe I'm wrong then, but the last time I looked, the differential between the two times posted was eight hours

Yes you are ... it's 16:42 UTC (for the 3rd time) and the Server is back up for 12+min

How many failures does it take for the "Unexpected Problem" become an Expected Problem?
