The more I look at it the more I don't like the shape. the nose and neck just doesn't look good.

Small hull as in fed escort =high turn rate and high inertia
In my opinion raptors were made as "practice target" ships with poor turn rate,smaller inertia,lower shield mod and more hull so fed escort pilots have more and enjoyable time being in their six .
If this new raptor will be the same I will pass on it as I passed on Maha (Matha ) due to poor turn rate and lack of battlecloak.

The only way that would be a concern, is from Cryptic's end-Feds don't buy raiders, Feds don't fly raiders.
And in that sense, if the 3 Pilot ships are not raiders, is at least preserves some of the distinctiveness of the class for the KDF. The pluspoint about copypasta is that we might actually get a true escort which is just as good as its Fed counterpart - something we haven't seen since the Veteran destroyers were released.
Any chance its a 'between' craft of some sort? I mean over all the body looks like a Raptor, but from looking at the images those are *not* fixed wings. Perhaps its something between a BOP and Raptor?

That's a big if, if tha thing is indeed a raptor... At this point I'm planing on it being a 4/3 raptor with standard cloak... That way I won't be disappointed (I still will be.)

Ah cool yeah I found it looks cool I might have to go login now do some doffing so I can have the zen ready lol.
As far as attitude its the problem we have communication with him as a minority of the player base. From his perspective he got us the mogh, worf VO's, intel ships, command ships, and now negh'var which I am very grateful they did any of that but the problem we have as a faction mostly resides in how the player base is so segregated and I guess it rubs him off the wrong way I guess he wants us in some little corner of the universe away from the federation players and for us to like it, love it, and for us to never speak again.
It looks like a hybrid between a BC, Raptor, and a BOP. It looks fast and manuverable, very aggressive.. prolly going to be light on science.. very light.. 2 consoles and a LT.
Might be a bootlegger turn type.. high inertia. Been seeing a lot of in game zoom and boom style fighting ships.
Just have to wait and see.. I like the look of the ship.. It feels Klingon.
