Is the Launcher broken

Well I get home from work and the launcher wont load at all has anyone else had this problem today?

    Yes, haven't been able to get the launcher to load for the last 3 hours. No idea why, doesn't seem to be widespread.

    The game was throwing up login queues this afternoon and I had other connectivity related issues as well around the same time.

    Either the game is genuinely overloaded today (very possible!) or they decided to throttle the log-ins to prevent a meltdown due to other issues.

    I got while making dinner haven't been back on because I keep getting timeouts.
