where are the Caitian Diaspora Assignment Chains ??

I want to do the Caitian Diaspora chain, but I can't find any of the assignments. I googled and found http://sto.gamepedia.com/Assignment_chain:_Caitian_Diaspora

but where he says "current map", he doesn't say which map. oO

Can anyone tell me which map or maps I need to be in to see those Caitian Diaspora assignments?

    The first few should be available pretty much anywhere. Just keep an eye out as you pass through different sector blocks.

    Protip: Be sure to check under the "Department Heads" tab for department-specific missions. Took me forever to find part 8 of this chain, until I checked under the tab for my Chief Engineer. (Now waiting for part 9 to pop under Medical...)

    It's ALL over the place. Of the chain missions I've completed, this one seems the most wide spread. "Current map" means just that, as in when looking for the assignment it's in the basic map level when looking for doff assignments. *BUT* to know which map to be in to find it, you need to check the part in the wiki that shows you what sector a mission part shows up in. "current map" is as opposed to finding an assignment step in the "department sections" part of the DOFF tabs. (brain choked on the actual title of the tab, it's the one where your boffs are the dept heads, operation, engineering and such sub sections) Tho how 'absolutely' reliable the current map description is, I dunno. The XP type can also point you to what kinda department subsection to look for the chain step in.

    you can find the specific map/s a step appears in by clicking on the link in the wiki that shows info on the specific step/s. The reply with the link takes you to the list of the missions, clinking on a specific step will show the sector maps a step appears in at the bottom of the page. Including colony nebulae if a step shows up in them.
    But yeah. This one takes you over what seems like the majority of the sector maps, excluding Delta Quad. Same for it's KDF counterpart, Unforgiven (ferasan).
    And as with most chains, gotta have luck on the step actually showing up as part of the random selections when the available missions update. Just gotta go back and look. Also a step can appear in multiple sectors at the same time, but I presume only in one of them at a time.

    Yes, this! Sure enough when I checked under that Officer's spot it was just sitting there waiting for me. THANK YOU. Now to just freaking get off my a## and start updating the open source guide material out there... ;)
