Is there a easier omega rep.

Hey all been away from this a while so getting back into it any way wanted to start getting the omega ground set as it looks cool. Anyway i started doing couple of the advanced space and they always fail.

So im wondering is there one that's easier than others as i need to get the borg neural processors or does all depend on the group you get put with as when i used to do them you got people that knew what they were doing and now its like people doing them have no clue and are doing them just incase they manage to get them completed.

First off, pugs often fail nowadays, so you're better off with a good fleet team. There is also the PublicEliteSTF channel, but make sure you know the missions first (people might be able to offer advice too). Don't be afraid of the ground ones, either - Khitomer ground is probably the most reliable mission in a pug right now.

Also, the Defera ground missions also reward neural processors now, I believe - the hard ones in particular. Grab yourself a team on zone chat down there; they are not actually as hard as their name suggests.

The sets are well worth getting, despite being the oldest reputation system. Omega is good for dodge, adapted MACO/Honor Guard has a heal 2-piece and MACO/Adapted Honor Guard has a shield heal. The adapted sets only appear once you collect all 3 pieces of your faction's non-adapted variant. There is no adapted Omega. All the sets also have a number of costume variants - it may work slightly differently now due to delta rising changes, but the costumes used to be earned for 1) getting the set, 2) getting the adapted set and 3) earning certain accolades for winning the optional objectives on Infected, Cure and Khitomer ground and space elites (but none of those has an elite mode now and the old optionals are now mandatory for advanced - I'd guess at just beating advanced now).

Stay away from Infected: The Conduit. Far, FAR away. So many people run this one that don't know or care how to stop the failures that it's almost pointless. And they are encouraged to do it because it's considered to be the "standard of measurement" for DPS parsing.

Also it used to be 'the easy one', and has not lost its reputation despite that no longer being accurate. People seem to have forgotten the old winning strategies like the 10% rule (get all 4 generators on 10% health before destroying any) and saving GW/TBR for the spheres (allowing more time to destroy the transformer).

Its always that one i always fail on you tell people get to 10% then blow all at once but you always get 1-2 that dont listen and blow them then complain at you when the spheres have come out and repping the other side.

My tactic point and shoot haha.

I have always found space ones easier just because i erm never pay too much attention to my ground gear and improve them when i have nothing else to do hence why im doing them now

Is there a better fleet to join as people that do them alot and never fail or at least complete more than they fail as would be up for joining one as the one im in is with mates so doing it just for abit of fun so if joining one that does them would benifit me then its all good

The Defera Adventure zone has missions that are good for a single BNP every day. If you can stomach running some ground missions.

Otherwise, the easiest Advanced STF to play for BNP's is Khitomer Vortex so long as you're willing to be the guy who goes over to the lonely gate by himself and do nothing but kill probes. You won't get the timed optional, but it's the easiest one to stop from failing.

Defera ground invasion zone Hard missions where on a good day, baring lag or other strange glitches you can acquire 4-5 BNP + 240-300 Fleet marks for completing all the hard missions with a team including Probe [irrc its 60 fleet marks + 1 BNP per hard mission]. In about 20-30mins sometimes less depending on team skill.

Defera can also be done at level 5 by Fed/KDF players as the zone auto levels your gear to lvl 50 equivalent, Romulan/Remans are outta luck untill they complete the "Bigger Picture" mission that require you to leave the Tau Dawa sector usually by level 13-15 as that was when I acquired my Romulan armor set on a Delta Reman after finishing the mission.
[a 3 man team is all that is required to start and complete the Defera hards as long as players know how to do the missions]
