I know that it wasn't well received by a lot of klingon warriors but I must say I love it it's a ship with teeth and it bites if you set it up correctly ...
Really it does....
Devs I say I'm proud with my T6 Battlecruiser... Thank You !!!

i bouth the fleet version of the neg tev and than i get ****ed the fleet version doesnt have the ship trait , and the unique console. so i pay the rpice ( 5 fleet module of 500 credit ) to have a ship less efficient.
so to have something fair i got to buy the normal version ( 2500 credit ) + the fleet version i already have
Not really cryptic's fault, they've told us exactly that before the ships got released.

Q: Will there be fleet versions of these ships?
A: Yes! Each of these ships gain +1 Engineering console slot and +10% Maximum hull hit points and +10% Maximum shield capacity. They will be made available upon release of these three new ships. They are unlocked upon reaching tier 4 in your starbases shipyard.
It should be noted that Fleet Tier 6 ships do not come with a 5th level of Starship Mastery and thus do not have a Starship Trait.

Yeah is why we have learned over 5 years first thing is anything they say is coming actually comes (example this ship was told to be available 3 years ago). Then the bortasqu' is a different catastrophe where they kept nerfing it upon player requests that were not even using the ship lol.
I'm not upset though I am just used to the gear grind theme. Grind for it, watch for the nerf, watch for the lockbox, watch for the reputation. Pretty much Whatever the flavor of the month is they will nerf it and then sell you a way to get it back lol.
I don't think that the Negh'tev was not received with a lot of enthusiasm (like the Mat'Ha was for ex.) because KDF players think it's a bad ship, but more because it's yet another battlecruiser in an already pretty saturated KDF battlecruiser market. A BoP, science ship or a carrier would really get the things moving in this period of time on the red side.
Besides, I think it's still to early to judge wheather it was or wasn't well received. I'm glad you like it OP, it's a good and nice looking ship with access to cool canon skins and I love the big underslug guns.
What I do not understand is this, when you are in the ship shop window it says 5 eng, 3 Tac and 3 Sci seatings I bought it but you have 1 universal seating, 1 Tac seating, 1 Science and 2 Engineering seating.... A bit odd.... or do I not understand it correctly or is it because I changed the skin ?
So to clarify,
Shop says :
5 Engineering
3 Tactical
3 Science
Reality :
2 Engineering
1 Tactical
1 Science
Or is it because I changed the skin to the Negh'Var ??

ah, that top number is the number of consoles slots available for use.. not the bridge seating.
Ah ok my mistake, still I really miss that extra Tactical seating is that with the Fleet T6 or isn't it ?
Engineering Always misses that Tactical seating and thats that...

The BOFF seating does not change within the same tier. Other stats change: Hull/Shield mods, Console Slot increase. But the BOFF seating never changes. The shipyard info for the ship clearly shows the BOFF seating alignment as well as all other pertinent info.

Yeah that always stays the same dude, you get an extra 10% hull, 10% shields, an extra console slot and the fleet skin. We've had the intel ships, now a spate of eng style ships, so im hoping with the PILOT focus we'll get some tac focused T6 ships next, a new BOP would be awesome.. fingers crossed
I'd be interested in hearing how the Negh"Tev stacks up against the Command ships, from someone who has both.
I hadn't purchased any T6 Ships for my KDF guys, but finally pulled the trigger on the tactical command ship, and I'm pretty happy with it (except that its butt ugly). Overall, its stats and console slots seemed to put it ahead of a Negh'Tev and I liked the ship trait.
I only wish the command "battlecruisers" had battlecruiser abilities, like weapon efficiency.

In terms of Cruisers with sturdiness first and foremost as well as respectable TAC capability, the T6 Negh'Var is simply superior.
1. As standard, Cmdr & LtCdr ENG stations. Very heavy ENG setup. More than enough space to throw in powerful abilities to enhance performance, promote survivability. DEM3+ET3+EPTW3 while still having LtCdr TAC? Easy. You can't do that on a Command FDC. What about Dual or Single A2B+EPTW3+DEM3+ET3 while still having LtCdr TAC? Easy, you can't do that with the Command FDCs. You have all the room to possibly do whatever you want with ENG because of Cmdr & LtCdr, and after all that you STILL retain that LtCdr TAC station.
2. Access to the FULL range of Cruiser Commands. Most importantly, access to Weapon System Efficiency Cruiser Command. It lowers the cost of Weapons Power consumption of energy weapons by 25% and helps to sustain your damage output more easily, esp if you go with the power-hungry Beamboat build. Even in a Cannons based build, you'll still notice a drop in power without this valuable Cruiser Command.
Those are the 2 points the T6 Negh'Var is simply better at than any version of the Command FDCs. The 2nd point is the biggest detriment to the Command FDCs to me and is a significant hit the way this game is played now. If I had my way, I'd trade in that trash Single Hangar Bay for the Weapon System Efficiency Cruiser Command so the Command FDC has access to the 3 important Cruiser Commands.
Consoles? With the Negh'Var at T6 Fleet level:
ENG 5, SCI 3, TAC 3
With TAC Command FDC:
ENG 4, SCI 3, TAC 4
The TAC Command FDC has a more TAC, balanced layout. If you want Critz on the Negh'Var, it's easily sorted out with a Universal Console.
Personally, after playing with Command abilities, I came away unimpressed so Command FDC's full access to them isn't a blessing for them. Nowhere near the impact the Qib Battlecruiser has with full access to the bells & whistles of Intel. The Iconic Ships' LtCdr access to Command isn't an issue to me. I treat it like Command doesn't exist at all and is a waste of Cryptic's development time.
Simply put, in terms of being a tough TAC Battlecruiser, the T6 Negh'Var is the better ship. It is the sturdier ship. It has the TAC Capability to go with that. It turns a bit better, an issue for DHC play. It manages your Weapons Power better. Considering what drives this game today, the T6 Negh'Var is the superior ship for that job.
Edit: The TAC Command FDC tries to do a bit more roles but that lacking Cruiser Command hurts what it is supposed to be good at: Being a TAC Cruiser.
I am loving my Negh'tev atm. Bought it for my Delta Recruit, so I don't have my build anywhere near complete, yet it is already outperforming my Main on the DPS front, and it turns on a dime, so easy to keep most NPCs in my front Arc for DHC spam. While I don't think I'll end up anywhere near the top level players when it comes to DPS, I think I'll be very happy with where it ends up
Yeah I like it a lot too. Only problem is lacking motivation to play at all after buying it because there isn't any content out there that is somewhat star trek looking or hasn't been forced grind to death. I know they like to focus their major resources into new ships to buy but its getting back to the same old grind from before f2p where there wasn't much content being released. Is why I didn't really like the expansion because it didn't really expand anything all it turned out to be was an xp grind which would been easier to stomach it if they just called it out what it was before hand instead of calling it something that it was not.
