Well maybe if you hadn't spend the last 3 years nerfing everything in the whole game - just take a good long at Delta Rising mega nerfs, you wouldn't be on here taking offense to people mocking your efforts?
I kind of like this DR thing so far. Elisa Flores is a pleasant surprise and overall very much more tolerable than Tovan Khev. Probably because she is not trying to do my job for me. Yeah, it is a bit grindy but since it is storyline missions, I do not mind as much. I rather like getting a reward, however slight, for running what amounts to a do-over on the Fed side. I had not done the new Fed Tutorial missions prior to this.
I have to say Cryptic got a little more right with this than they did with Delta Rising. I do not want to damn them with faint praise here, however. I do think once again, they underestimated the tenacity of STO players as a group. I was surprised at how quickly the Progress Bar filled. It encouraged me to put my best foot forward. I am not hardcore by any means, but I would rather not be that guy who has a chance to fill the last part of the Progress Bar and decides to find fault with the game instead.
A six year old boy and his starship. Living the dream.
And if the big opening week rush wasnt enough to get it to t3, none of the subsequent ones will.
For my own part i think we should get some handicap scoring on this one, because the bugs during the opening weekend probably convinced some people to postpone delta recruit stuff until after it was fixed, by which time it was the workweek.
Anyhow I don't blame cryptic, I blame the lazy players.
I was thinking of that too. As the later ones might not be enough to push it over. Since the others already hit the max. Even myself doubt I will make to Lv50 before the event ends. Due to what time I can play. I'm surprised if I hit Lv20.

OK, so Al "Captain Geko" Rivera tweeted on Saturday afternoon that we had unlocked Tier 1 ahead of their projections.
As of a few moments ago, we have already cleared Tier 2 and are at 19% completion towards Tier 3.
Way to go Players!!!!
Honestly I'm going to have to call Delta Recruit a failure.
The whole idea was to bring in a slew of new players and get them on the same footing.
The fact that we made Tier 1 ahead of time means NOTHING for that goal... what it means is a bunch of old players made a TRIBBLE ton of alts... and clicked their way through everything in a mass rush to simply get the account rewards for their mains. Which wasn't the said goal.
Then add in the fact that all Delta Recruit did was get characters pretty much to level 50ish... but when you look at it didn't really put them all that much closer to be ing able to compete with established players. What 20k dilithium... not even enough marks to fill up a rep tree without sponsorship (which there's a good chance if you're new you don't even know exists or have)... and what... 4k EC or so which isn't even enough to buy anything really decent on the exchange with the super inflated prices as they are.
Oh and you still have to grind a TRIBBLE ton in the Delta Sector. You just have to grind less.
So the idea that this was going to bring in a ton of new players... failed I'd say which is obvious with the fact we only made tier 2.9. The idea that they would bring new players at least close to established players... failed.... when you concider the huge amount of inflation and grind they're still going to have to do to even get close.
I know I'm a naysayer and I'm sorry about that. Delta Recruit was a great idea... but they just didn't implement it properly... or even really advertise it all that well to bring in new players.
But as to the real goal of padding their metrics saying they've had "X" number of newly created Captains playing through content... I'd say they passed that one successfully... but when all you can brag about the entire thing is that we made Tier 1 faster then expected... translation "we ground out the missions quicker and didn't really play through the content"... well...

It also helps she has rare access to TS3 (like Tovan), but unlike Tovan, her crucial Space Trait will be the same as other available Human Boffs at VR; notably, Leadership is Leadership; there's no Superior Leadership unlike Tovan's Romulan Operative being vastly inferior to Superior Romulan Operative. She'd no doubt be disliked and benched if she didn't have TS3 or if there was Humans with Superior Leadership readily available.
Even the DR Pack's Human Boff still has regular Leadership. The DR Pack Vulcan has Efficient, and the DR Pack Trill is just a copy-paste generic Trill. She doesn't even have Efficient or Leadership or any other Space Trait, which makes her useless (she wasn't as useless back before the Boff overhaul and she was the only VR Intel Engineer available for Feds).
It's also possible he was congratulating everyone.
Crazy, I know.
I smell a conversion with lots of hard caps. Due to unforeseeable efforts we must nerf everything you have gained so the gamma recruits are not under powered like the rest of the stuff in the game.

It was to be a general congratulations to all players...
It is unfortunate that the forums have to troll any positive threads.
@Borticus...Thank you for commenting and trying to get this back on track.
