When the TOS Connie was released with that bridge and interior, I was in amazement at how far Cryptic went with that ship release. However, it has been a few years now and while it is nice to see the old bridge from time to time, I think it is time for an update.
I can buy off on SF keeping the old ships around and re-fitting them and all, but re-fits generally mean changes in the bridge design and I think it is high time that the Connie got one. I don't propose anything drastic, just something to tie it in with the game. Maybe keep the same layout, exactly like it is, only instead of the old looks, it's given an LCARS update. I'd also like to see the Veteran and other skins made available for it as well.
Same for the Class F shuttle. You have an old shuttle, but it has the same interior as all the other shuttles. I would like to see something a little more unigue for this shuttle. The shuttle has a single pane of "glass" and a square look about it, so the interior should reflect that look. The current shuttle bridge is larger than the whole Class F shuttle, or so it seems.
As far as the Crew and Engineering sections of the Connie goes, I'd keep the same layout, only updated a little bit. I'm not saying through LCARS all over the ship, but it would be nice to see something a little updated there as well.
I wouldn't normally say this, but this could even be a C-Store item. Connie re-fit bundle, sell it for 5 or 10 bucks. I'd buy it. It has been a long time since we've had new bridges added to the game and I think it's time you guys add a few more. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed you guys adding the Belfast bridge and the new common (or whatever it's called) bridge to the game, it broke things up a little bit. I personally think that each new ship added to the game should have it's very own bridge and crew/engineering interior look to it. I get that artist are pretty busy and that players don't spend a bunch of time on their bridges, but when we are on the bridge, it would be nice for it to be rich and immersive, the Connie bridge achieves that to a degree, but looses it (IMO) when you look at where we are in the timeline.

If I recall correctly, the TOS Constitution doesn't come with a unique interior. The TOS interior requires purchasing the TOS bundle. The whole point of the TOS interior is that it belongs in the 23rd Century. Updating the looks of that interior will defeat the entire purpose of that interior. Besides there are a ton of interiors that are in desperate need of being corrected before the devs update an old interior.
If I recall correctly, Tacofangs stated that they won't build new interiors unless there is a purpose for it like the Delta Rising episodes on Voyager and the Intrepid Interiors. Which is why we really need a modified version of the Foundry to create our own ship interiors since the devs don't have the time to create them for us.

You can't get the T1 Connie unless you buy it in the C-Store, if I remember correctly, it's been years. At any rate, all of the interiors could use an update. The Voyager (the DR version) isn't even available to players at this point. I get your point about the TOS interior, but if you bring in a 23rd century into the 25th century, you couldn't perform enough updates on it to make it a viable ship, but since Cryptic added and noted that the ship was update to the 25th century, then it stands to reason that there should be a 25th century interior option for the ship. I'm not saying replace the 23rd century interior, I'm saying add an additional interior. However, I'm sure Tacofangs did say something like. But frankly, with a few exceptions, most of the bridges in this game are horrible. I appreciate the bridges like the Connie bridge, Belfast, and the new Voyager bridge. I even like the Sovereign bridge, but the others really aren't that great and don't fit the "function" of the ships all that well. Foundry updates are great and all, but unless individual assets that are recreated in the Foundry will be released in game, then the Foundry is a dead-end for those wanting new/reworked interiors.

You want to make the Connie Bridge look Newer...
...but...
You want to make the shuttle bridge look Older?
I didn't buy the pack (which includes the bridge, shuttle, and a few other TOS era things, NOT the Connie - starkaos is correct) for a newer look, I wanted the TOS bridge. I would NOT have bought it if it were what you are asking for. Don't want the TOS bridge? Use a different one, you can swap in the Ship Tailor.

The Connie was originally a preorder before it became a C-Store ship. Therefore, you can get a Connie provided you find an old STO copy with the right code or through the C-Store.
As far as the Connie being brought to 25th Century standards, I don't buy it. It makes sense that what we are getting is an original Constitution class ship that has underwent repairs where necessary. Therefore, there is no changes between the Constitution in the 23rd Century and in the 24th Century so Tier 1 is the best that it can do.
i would like a TOS shuttle interior, as to the constitution, yes it is used as a training ship in the us navy (saw a history channel special about it) besides i would like to see the TOS interior expanded to include the shuttle bay cargo bays aux control & phaser control room................
The only change I want to see to the Connie interiors is the resizing of the Consoles, Captains chair etc. They are too large for Captains, Npc's, etc. Its a sore sight on the eye's.
On the other hand, By far, I think the Connie Interior is one of the best that Cryptic has done so far.

I'm not saying replace the existing bridge or layouts. I'm saying add another bridge and interior for the Connie. Why can't Conn have a LCARS layout over the existing position? I'm saying keep everything on the bridge the same, but instead of switches on the consoles, add LCARS. As a separate optional bridge pack.
Someone also said something about using another bridge pack. Here is the thing, bridges are unigue to ships IMO. With a few exceptions, none of the custom bridges Cryptic first released, fit any of the ships in style or function. They are either too large or too small. I also don't think that any of the bridges look very Treky in nature, except for the new Common bridge and unreleased Voyager bridge, and Belfast. Their custom bridges IMO aren't that great in terms of immersion, function, style, colors, and size. Its just my opinion, but I'm glad the discussion is open and opinions are being freed.

just my 2 zen worth
They can't make it smaller due to the limitations of the camera positioning behind the player.
