Delta Delete Day

I propose that we create a Delta Delete Day.

A day in which we all simultaneously delete our pointless Delta Recruits and send a message about what we really think of all this.

How does May 7th sound to everyone?

    LOL... "what we really think of all this"... is apparently we're going to play the event regardless then delete our Characters on May 7th.... after the event is done is some kind of lame protest that actually tells Cryptic what?

    You don't like it fine... but then here's a novel idea... DON'T PLAY IT.

    If you honestly think this whole thing is a scam... then protest by not doing it. Don't give Cryptic the Metrics and the numbers they want. Be the voice that says "I'm not going to take your piddly rewards and cave into your pathetic attempt to bribe me to pad your metrics and replay the content again"

    But no... you're idea of protest is to do the event... give Cryptic EXACTLY what they want... and then afterwards when Cryptic couldn't care less one way or another delete your character.

    LOL... pathetic.

    I seriously doubt Cyptic would care .. but my "Delta Recruit" is probably just going to be another 50-54 Alt, who is going to rot on some Shelf (already have 10+ of them, since Pre-DR is still good Gameplay imho) ... so what'd be the point ...

    ... the good News is ... Level 50 isn't that hard so I'll probably just doff & do some Foundries ...

    my plan is to delete 3 existing alts in exchange for the new delta alt.

    I propose April 2nd, as this will be the day where I delete several idle and redundant alts, in favour of new Delta Recruit alts...

    How does that work for you?

    I plan on making several delta recruits and will keep them all.

    Denied. I'm going to keep mine. You may do it if you want, but I'm not, since I don't want to lose what will be gained from doing the event.

    As the result of the OP's post, I went from being relatively ambivalent towards Delta Recruits to eagerly wanting to create at least one.
    Laws of thermodynamics as applied to life: 0 - You must play the game. 1 - You can't win. 2 - You can't break even. 3 - You can't quit.

    Nope. I have to make a Reman, don't have one yet. A Gorn...again don't have one. Finally I need to make my Vulcan Science officer in tribute to the late Mr. Nimoy. In all it will bring me to thirteen characters. Besides why would you delete something after putting so much work into it? I never understood why people do that.

    Kid, If you don't want it after you've gotten all you can out of it, delete it. But don't expect others to follow you.

    The rest of us are quite happy to have a reason to play while season 10 is readied.

    ditto... that's just what I was going to say.
    I will probably mostly use the delta for farming doff missions after the event with the occasional play at more when I have extra time to spare.

    When I think about everything we've been through together,

    maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

     and if that journey takes a little longer,

    so we can do something we all believe in,

     I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
