Hmm - would it be fair to assume that the giant cannons attached to her underbelly will be associated with a console or ability of some sort?

I hope so. Actually I suggested something like this some time ago, maybe I can find the thread so if it comes I can say "Told y'all!" XD

Once upon a time in 2013 to be precise.

They might as well be a fixed fifth forward weapon of some kind. Or just the cannon hardpoint. I'm nervous and excited XD

    Must... have...

    Dammit >.<

I really hope it'll be a T6 with the option to upgrade an existing T5/T5U Negh'Var to this baby...

Could be, though the Mat'Ha Raptor kind of took the rapid fire disabling cannon fire that I'd associated with the Negh'Var already.

    The vodleh! That is awesome!

For anyone curious, this is the version of the Negh'var we saw first in terms of TV airing. It was used as the future Klingon battlecruiser in both TNG "All Good Things" and VOY "Endgame".
Nice to see the gun pods below now too :D

    Very excited!

Just please let it have some good stats. Remember the boff layout of the basic T5 and fleet version? *shudder*:(

Let's hope they took inspiration from it's mirror counterpart

    OHMANOHMANOHMANOHMANOHMAAAAAAN

This was all I ever wanted. The Negh'Var is, visually speaking, my favourite ship in Star Trek and THIS is what it should look like, with the massive disruptor cannon sticking out from the nose like the vulcan on an A-10 Warthog and with the massive weapon pods hanging beneath the main hull.

I will be getting this. I don't even care. I must have it and it will be mine.

So why am I thinking that it'd be the ultimate KDF troll by Cryptic ever if this were only an NPC model ...

Sorry but you got that reversed there.
The one without the cannons is the vodleh

while the one missing until now is actually the Negh'var version.

Thanks to a bunch of certain individuums not very liked by cryptic we already know that they're working on a "T6 Negh'Var" and making it NPC only would go against their buissness practice since that means they won't sell it. So chances are we'll see it in the store for 3k once S10 rolls out.

This is a very good sign. I'm not a bt cruiser flyer, but this might just convince me to level my future cruiser pilot and start saving up Dilithium to pick this baby up. Now we need a T6 BoP and Sci-heavy ship.

As to concerns about the seating, chances are there will be hybrid seating (probably high-level Pilot) so having similar seating wouldn't be too bad.

While I typically would not be too ecstatic about ANOTHER Battlecruiser, this is the Negh'Var model we've been asking about for years.

    Negh'Var
    Studio Model
It's got that nose probe-thingie present on "All Good Things" as well as the ventral pylons, etc. Stuff missing on the original STO Negh'Var model. We 'should' be able to replicate both onscreen versions of the Negh'Var when this thing releases.

    Makes no sense whatsoever.

I can't imagine it would be, because having the Galaxy as the Fed pilot ship makes even less sense than the Negh'var being the one for the KDF.

Really, they way these new types of BO's should have been handled is the creation of hybrid stations for them. You could use any of the new specialization powers on any of the T6 ships, but a dedicated command cruiser or intel ship would get a slight bonus to the powers that would best work for it.

You make the Klingons install Defiant sized cannons on a Negh'var. :D

Yeah odds are though it got accidentally leaked and is just going to be a npc ship and is to get the kdf grinding to think they are going to get something. Then they will say we never promised anything it was just a forum rumor lol.

It would temp me to reinstall but being they banned my main account for giving them suggestions that were not flaming or trolling but just a personal grudge against me they still need to put more carrot on the stick.

Well that saves time, I was going to patch up Tribble, but voDelH model variant is already on Holodeck and the Negh'Var model now has massive under-slung weapon pods. You don't even have to own a variant of it to see it, just check the shipyard screen.

Not the T6 version if that's what you're thinking, just new model variants with the existing T5s. None of the variant models match the leaked T6 hitpoint-screen shape.
