all the cool stuff is with the good fleets. But what if you're loyal to your friends tiny little fleet and would feel bad if you left? Is there anywhere to hang out and get an easy invite to a T5 starbase to get some neato elite gear?

Yeah, NoP Public Service is a great channel even if the chat goes off-topic alot, but that is the case with most channels. All you need is Fleet Credits, Dilithium, a Fleet that has provisions for what you want, and permission from your Fleet Leaders to use the Fleet Store to get most Fleet items from a Tier 5 Fleet without joining it. Fleet ships requires quitting your fleet and joining their fleet to get them so those Fleet invites are less common.

Does your tiny little fleet have the provisions for the gear you need in there starbases inventory ? If they don't getting a map invite to someones elses starbase wont help you

There's also the PA: PSTS channel, though they're not as active as the NoP channel. However, the few times they are active they usually respond fast. As well, it never hurts to have two places to ask. Of course, a polite request gets a reply or invite faster than an insult.

I have both requested and sent out invites over NoP, it is a great channel to have available.
