I was thinking about what technology or technologies, which have not been added in STO apart from being mentioned or seen in Star Trek, should or could be added. Plasma phaser was mentioned in Star Trek The Next Generation. What about Starfleet designed regenerative shields, the way it works in Star Trek.
How about a frequency re modulator as a ship device, they have it for ground why not for space. We have seen it happen in TNG before. Although having the borg adapt to space weapons could be more annoying than interesting.

They have that ability already, if you are an engineer, it is called rotate shield frequency but they should introduce an special shield or shields, which does it automatically with regenerative shield or resilient shield etc, or added to the Borg shield or to the starfleet designed regenerative shield.
Please do not hit me if I am wrong, but wasn't some kind of Rifle with a holographic bullet mentioned a few times in Star Trek? Do we have something ingame ?
How about the Federation Biscuit Launcher, mentioned by Captain Picard in the TNG series. It was the episode where he and Beverly were having breakfast, croisants I think it was, and Picard was slightly annoyed at the way she kept pronouncing "that" word.
Eventually he said Mr LaForge should really install a fresh biscuit launcher, so he could avoid these breakfasts altogether. She got upset and was about to say something when he was called to the bridge by Riker about something happening somewhere.

Not exactly. A projectile rifle developed for deployment on a planet where the atmosphere messed with conventional phasers, abandoned when they invented a phaser that worked there (and never once brought up to, say, fight the BORG!!!) Used in an interesting murder mystery episode of DS9. The killer rigged the rifle with a minature transporter in the barrel, which transported the bullet into the room where the person was to be shot, so he could kill people on the other side of the station.
Proper saucer separation. We can only take command of the stardrive section and not the saucer.

It surprised me to learn that the Varon-T disruptor isn't in the game currently. Nasty weapon, seems like the kind of thing they might have put in as a mission reward somewhere, maybe Klingon side.

The corrosive plasma pistol from thee delta lock box looks very similar to the Varon-t disruptor.
Not sure if it was planned or by accident, you can get em pretty cheap on the exchange last time I checked maybe 12 or 14k ec
