What to do with Crystal Fragments

I just finished doing my daily run of CCA and in my inventory suddenly appeared a bundle of 260 crystal fragments and I don't know what to do with them. Can someone advise please what they're used for?

    They're used to decrease the recrystalization of the CE. Basically only a few powers currently do it, so they're kind of there to give everyone the ability to do it.

    I've only gotten them to show up on one of my characters so far... and they never work for me anyway.

    Huh?!

    Use them on the Events tab of your reputation for the crystalline event. No clue what the guy above is on about.

    might be wrong, but are not the "crystal fragments" from the nukara prime zone wide mission called "mineral matters" where you have to mine something like 300 fragments to complete it...

    the CE event gives a "Crystal Shard".
