In the interim, footage of a successful go at the Elite incarnation has been let into the wild.

Awesome. The Federation gets to save Qo'nos ... again.

There's no chance the Iconians will blow up the planet, is there? Maybe?

just to rub the salt in, a kdf toon will beyond doubt complete annihilate the npcs, but will be forced to watch cutscenes of the heroic feds warping in and then be forced on rails to watch some feddie save the day.

    just like the last time.

OMG, not ANOTHER fracking Queued Event, have you lost your minds at Cryptic ? how about first addressing dozen or so unused Queued events on the roster, then look into making a new one. I have grow sick of this Queued STF idea you have. I want a true challenge and you have not given me one since you did away with the Old Style STFs. Want to Impress me, that is easy, give me a challenge, not a run through with guns blazing. Make something that requires a lot of work, planning, tactical thinking and a need to actually work together as a team. You have lost your way in my opinion Cryptic, and that depresses me more than you can imagine.:(

I LAWL at the people who are "if they don't release (absurd request) with Delta Recruits I am not playing period the end." So far I've seen T6 Command Connie, T6 Galaxy, Playable Ferengi Faction, Cross-Faction Ferengi, Cardassians Playable Race, and a few other good ones.

LOL while I'm not 100% happy with this game I'm not going to make impossible demands "or I quit playing."
I never made the comment that I would quit playing if no Cardassians. My request was in order for me to start a Delta Recruit; I'll only start a new character if additional species are offered as playable, otherwise I'll resort to my existing ones and stick with them.

My "I'm outta here" bit was with regard to playable Iconian Ships.

From what I've seen so far I don't think many people have got the main point of the post quoted above.

He meant that the iconian rep (and especially lock box ships) shouldn't happen because the Iconians are supposed to be absurdly overpowered (even more so than the Borg).

If they just hand that kind of tech to the players (or turn the Iconians into stock enemies that players kill by the hundreds), they might as well throw the whole of the Star Trek lore (not to say basic common sense) into the shredder.

And if they tried to give that and keep lore consistency, they'd effectively destroy gameplay balance for good.

That's why he said he'd quit.
    Thank You! :D

Now I really want to be able to play with the Iconian Dreadnought. I'll happily sink spare change into getting one.

Though I'd also take a Battleship and Cruiser. And pay for them too.

Has Qonos some kind of Bullseye painted on it?

First Species 8472 now the Iconian a Warriorspecies without the Abillity of defending their own Homeworld it seems ... There are 100 Planets with important Species lets invade Andoria or Bol or Bajor or Regulus, Rigel, Ferenginar ...

Maybe Qo'Nos is getting attacked again because everyone in the universe in getting sick of your constant flip-flopping between whining like entitled TRIBBLE and talking smack about being the toughest species in all Creation. I know I am.

Star Wars was about the Rebel Alliance. Star Trek is about Starfleet. Always has been, always will be. Get over it. You finally get Klingon-centric content again and all you do is complain about it. Is it any wonder they stopped making it? I swear, you're never happy unless you get a shiny new toy and nobody else does.

First of my so called mains are a fed and rom so i have no idea to who you are talking ...

Second Centered around Klingon eventually yes but sorry when everything centered around you is getting your race f... its not so fun anymore and thats understandable ... its like in swtor where constantly Imperial Charakters die but no Republican

So everything i was intended to say was hey lets kick someone else for some time (invading always the same planet is stupid once ok but even klingons would strengthen the defenses of the most important planet inside of their empire after that) we can kick the gorn or nausicaans or orions or so they are on the klingon side so fed player can be happy about their superiority ...

BAD, Baaddddd Idea. Naked Ferengi Females would scare any invader off Ferenginar.

I have to say my initial thoughts were along the lines of "Attacking Qonos again? God can't something more original happen?" but now I've had some time to come round to it I do quite like that the Iconian's seem to now have a direct initial strategic goal they seem determined to succeed in...

The Iconians! Their invasion forces march through the streets of First City and into the stars! We will show them the might and bravery of our Imperial fleet is as unmatched in space as our warriors are on the ground.

We must drive out the honorless petaQ!

    ~LaughingTrendy

I really hope this doesn't mean you're letting the Fek'liri storyline drop... If Fek'liri aren't Iconian servitors then perhaps they should be Iconian enemies, or perhaps competitors?

    More Fek'liri please.

...Also get rid of the specialization system so that klingon alts are playble again. :P
