Any word on First Contact Day?

What the title says. According my calendar, First Contact Day/Day of Honor/Republic Day is coming up soon. I don't believe the in-game calendar has been updated for April yet, but I think it should coincide with the beginning of Delta Recruitment.

Not necessarily expecting an update, but I'd like confirmation at least that it's happening (or not). Particularly since I would hope my shiny new Delta Recruit would be able to participate.

    OK, now it's April, and I still don't see this on the calendar. Did somebody goof, or was the event preempted by the Delta Recruitment event? :(

    It would have been nice if the devs had made a public announcement "Sorry we forgot all about it."
