Ok, so you closed this thread, which seems strange as although it's a zombie thread it was an official thread, and was open, presumably for help.

And I see you've opened this thread but it's closed. So where do we discuss this now?

Also, why is this even in the tribble section? this works with the chat server, not either shard specifically.

    Because technically speaking the xmpp interface is still in beta, which is what tribble is for.
