Instead of Subspace Party Nullifiers

How about Subspace Party Receivers which enable you to be affected by and see Subspace Party Amplifiers.

Then only people that want to party will party.

Win win.

Yet another party amp thread. How original.

    You missed the F.C.T. notice.

    Specifically:
    Disco Balls (Party Amplifer) threads
The items are obviously added to the game and aren't going anywhere. However, everytime people make threads about them they tend to turn into threads of flaming, trolling and harassment. As such, we aren't going to allow these threads anymore unless something changes with them.

What would happen if my tricorder happened to lead me to a subspace party anomaly that detonates in a zone wide party that automatically causes all subsequent beam ins to end up in the party zone?

How about instead make who ever set the ball of targetable...
Everywhere I look, people are screaming about how bad Cryptic is.
    What's my position?
That people should know what they're screaming about!

Well, the PvPers are always complaining about not having anything to do, so making it open-season on Party Ball droppers would put a Band-Aid on that issue.

You could have posted this in one of the other threads about this issue. Not every thought needs its own thread.

It amounts to the same thing. I read it as a change to the way party amps works. I.E. Removing the current party amp and replacing it with his new device.

It's not broken, and doesn't need 'fixing'.

Actually, it's not a troll. It's for an item that would allow those who can't live without the disco ball to peaceably exist in the same world as everyone else by allowing an opt-in instead of a partial opt-out.

The amp doesn't need to go anywhere. Its effect can stay in subspace which would need special receivers to see and hear.

Yes, a complete opt-in item is a much better idea than a partial opt-out item. That way the abuse of them can not be performed.

That might be the height of immersion in this game.

    OP is onto something.

"Captain, I'm getting strange reading on my tricorder."

    "What is it, Spock?"

"It appears to be a dance party."

Agreed. Cryptic could be a trend setter.

Or they could live it to someone like Blizzard.

That would be a win/win, until a few players started slaughtering noobs by the dozens. Epic as that would be, it would be ended quickly.
