guess Cryptic have one more name to the memorial names list on ESD and Qo'nos. Harve produced 4 trek films, that makes him just as much a part of the entire franchise as Gene, Majel and Deforest.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.
He produced movies 2-5, and came up with the idea of 2 being a follow up to "Space Seed". If not for him, we probably wouldn't have gotten TNG or the series that followed it (or this game).

TNG was pitched by Roddenberry in response to what his version of Trek was in contrast to what Bennett's version of Trek. However, the success of the trilogy (2-4) gave us TNG.

I'd go so far to say ST II/III/IV are the best trilogy in all of sci-fi. (Sorry Mr. Lucas)
Both Harve Bennett & Nicholas Meyer "got" Star Trek. What impressed me most about Bennett was this part:
Too bad the modern bunch never did that.
