T6 Bug

There are... 24 hours of life left to my account if the ship reveals to be what has been leaked.

I'm staying relaxed for now... for now though.

    I totally understand.

    For myself, the only reason I won't be uninstalling STO after this is if they upgrade the T5 bug ships to the new stats.

    Not kidding myself, I'll be uninstalling the game.

    new bug ship will pwn all. imagine supression barrage+ionic+oss3+SS3. u will not be able to move nor shoot back. you will just die! supression barrage cant be resisted and i dont need to write about SS3 with 5 front weaps + oss3.
    one ship to pwn em all. ofc only pvp wise. no dps junkie would even bother with this ship. all hail the scimitard!

    History lesson the original bugship which was actually in a christmas lockbox (ironic eh) just after f2p launch was a serious gamebreaker for the current meta. It by far outshines the mvam which was the first c store moderate game breaker. Years later this command/intel hybrid bugship follows in it's predecessors footsteps as the next game breaking "lockbox" ship. Again long time vets like me are not shocked by this news. There's always attack pattern logout :P Ground pvp anyone? Far less cost and grind to be playable at the top.

    They haven't released the stats yet but it's probably going to be the new top dog. The question is by how much of a margin.

    They may as well have made a Dominion-styled expansion like LOR with all these Dominion ships.

    have a look at the leaks page. all important info is there. they were never wrong btw. all they leaked came into the game

    watch, it will have a commander hybrid intel, and basically be a +1 phantom with top turn rate and impulse mod.

    if its just got some LT hybrid of some kind its not too big of a deal. if it cant SS or have 5 fore weapons its practically an also ran. unless the trait is reciprocity tier.

    lol @ everyone who payed a fortune for a tier 5 bug, hope you feel like you got your moneys worth out of it. isn't planned obsoletion online great? time to go through bug ship fever all over again!

    this ship is designed to troll the pvp community and be the most powerful scort ever. it will have commander intel and will pwn everything out there with its possibilities of command and intel hybrid.

    You think you know me. You think but you don't. I wouldn't have any issues with leaving. What kept me around is "Star Trek". Now that the last bit of it is departing for the ****s destination, I'd be removing it nice and clean.

    I was wondering when you'd show up. As usual you're right, now if you make room for me as well in the leaving PvPers club I'd say thanks. Granted that tomorrow these dark leaks reveal to be false, something I strongly hope.

    so that elachi ship had the first and only LTC hybrid station, and it was tied to an R&D promotion too if i recall correctly, so the bug will almost undoubtedly have a LTC hybrid. and of the 2 specilizations, i don't think command is the most likely fit. so, basically a tier 5 bug with OSS3 i imagine.

    given the bug station setup,

    COM tac
    LTC tac
    LT uni
    LT uni
    ENS eng

    i wonder what tier 6 would look like?

    the ENS could becomes an LT, and might be the hybrid station instead of the LTC.

    or it gets a LTC uni, then the hybrid would have to be the LTC tac. they seem not to want to make a universal station a hybrid for some reason, tier6 bop ain't ever happening. only pvpers would actually want it anyway, and we have all been culled.

    Well, there is one ship that was leaked pre-DR that we still haven't seen in game.

    At least S10 finally brings us to the beginning of the end.

    I had already taken a break during the Winter event, and only came back after they started balancing the PvP breaking TRIBBLE that were the intel abilities. Then they dropped suppression barrage on us, and then this bug ship. I'll do the same thing I did last time. Log in once a day for 5 minutes, and then on to play one of my almost 170 games I have in Steam.

    I don't have lots of games on Steam, but I have plenty of stuff to do in War Thunder and I'm still in one of the top ranked crews of NFSW.
    Or I might go back playing BF4, Rivals, Watch Dogs, TF2.

    This is why I said what i said in the other thread about hope being on the horizon. I learned my lessons about space pvp at the end of lor season launch. Granted ground is even more dead than space but that's mostly due to grinding issues and less about cost and upgrades. The issues list i created holding ground pvp is pretty much dead on. Problem with ground though is it murdered the last remaining steady ground pvpers we had. In fact I would say in terms of active ground community willing to do ground pvp at a moment's notice. I can count maybe 6 people at best.

    And it was fun until it lasted. Tell me how many PvPers have left. Better yet, how many are still here, it would be easier.

    Nothing stopping feds from still using reprocity. And ya this thing is going to have Intel and Command seats. It is there new Golden Snitch, it will only show up in R&D pack promos 3-4 times a year or when they really need to bump sales before a quarter end. I love how this messed up stuff always hits just in time for quarterly sales reports.

    This company is nasty, and dirty. They don't only lie to there customers they do it to there share holders as well. They will release something like this and because it has worked so many times in the past expect sales to go up 500% so they can average that into there TRIBBLE 3 months prior and make things look good come share holder reporting time.

    Slimy on so many levels.

    i don't recall anyone leaving over ether, just pissed that cryptic cared more about profits then providing a fair playing field to us. doesn't mater, right. no group is more incentivized to buy the best new thing, or more likely to be a whale, then a pvper. the muh deeps crowd is the only other group that compares, but they would only be interested in new tac cruisers and dreadnaughts, not the full range like us.

    Nah, it'll have commander intel, and LTC command. Because balance can go TRIBBLE itself right?
