Ship vs ship scale issues in sector space

Flying my Eclipse through sector space, I stumbled upon a Wells that was twice the size of my ship. Owner confirmed that their ship also appeared bigger than my Eclipse.

    I thought something looked off last night, but because I can't scroll my camera out I couldn't be sure. I was in my Wells class and a Command cruiser was next to me, he looked tiny compared to my ship.
    Join date is wrong, I've actually been around since STO Beta.
    True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!

    Shuttles are bigger than main line cruisers and capital ships.

    I happened upon an Obelisk that I spawned completely inside of as a fleet Tempest Patrol Escort. It must have been 5x larger than the Fleet Tempest, and that's a little bit too big.

    Not to mention that traffic at a system can cause a jam when trying to leave and that is something that looks stupid. Damn stupid.

    Pssst. . . We're already scaling your ship down, a lot. It's actually about the smallest we can make it without breaking more stuff.

    They are in the process of making ships smaller in sector space so they feel better proportioned to star systems when you fly up to them. What's probably happening is they haven't scaled down all ships yet.

    EDIT: Making ships smaller in sector space has caused several problems with zoom. I've described these problems in detail in the thread below.

    I noticed the same thing with one of my Fed toons Breen ships and his ship even dwarfs the Odyssey Class in Sector Space! It's funny to watch people say, "WTF! How'd that ship get sooooooo big!" I know that the ship scales in sector space is something you are working on and hopefully it will be fixed soon cause I just tweeted you (@trekonlinegame) via my twitter @Flt_Ad_Harrison and you can see that I can access Sol from Wolf 359 because my ship is so freakishly huge. Other than that, great job on the new sector space and I can't wait to access Tellar and Betazed and some of the new systems on Tribble! LLAP
