Did anyone else laugh at that list because of the state Diplomacy, Real Klingon Content, and Improved Crafting was in when that article came out? Diplomacy hasn't improved since that article came out and is still a joke.
it was a terrible idea to make crafting intrigal to the game. Pre-DR everything you got out of it was a bonus; now, if you don't spend time crafting something - anything - you fall behind. On top of that the article boasts how you can craft a Delta Flyer. Now, the only thing you craft are hopes and dreams that you don't get a [PvPRes] mod.
But I digress, it's just not crafting, or exploration - or even going from season 3 to 9.5 that leaves a feeling of empty hopes and promises - it's every week. With every week comes another week of patch notes designed to masquerade as an improvement over the previous ones. And after each of those weeks, more disappointment.
Looking back at what has been touted as improvements means nothing because, indeed, I would trade all 10 of those things just for the singular guarantee that I won't have trouble logging on to play.

How I wish featured episodes like that still came out.
Even if they weren't as advanced as the current ones it'd still be epic to have content delivered like that.
Now we have to wait 4-5 months for a single mission.

Every other one of those has, in part or in whole, come to pass in a meaningful manner.

The same could be said of many of those things. Changed, yes. Improved? Hardly.
Unless monotization is the barometer, and for Cryptic that's all that seems to matter. Gameplay is an afterthought.
