Memorial Statue to Spcok

I think the title says it all, I for one would like a memorial to Leonard Nimoy place somewhere, preferably at New Romulus.

    A nice tribute would be to use Kirk's "Most Human" quote, and Spocks "The Needs of the Many" quote somewhere on the memorial.
    Lets us remember what he stood for, and embodied.
    A selfless individual always in search of knowledge, and following the path of logic.
    We all learned valueable life lessons, by witnessing the standards and ideology Mr Spock lived by.

    For this reason, his monument should hold special importance, and great significance.

    He become more then a charater we loved, he trancended and became a way of life.
    A way of thinking.

    May i add, the idea for a 2nd one on New Romulus?

    I have an idea for what Season 11 should be; Season 11: The Big Bug Fix.

    STO should definitely do something to honour Nimoy, hell WOW honoured Robin Williams, but unfortunately i dont know if they will

    If only it were as simple as the procedure for the memorial to Angel of Caine, in CO; the statue there used one of this characters, and Cryptic's legal rights were clear.

    On the other hand, I can't see his heirs denying Cryptic the authority to use Mr. Nimoy's likeness for a memorial, particularly in a game that he contributed so much to - from being one of the originators of Star Trek as a phenomenon (let us be honest, without Spock the show would have been so much less) on up to the speeches when we enter a new sector block for the first time.

    It is a bit disgusting to see people asking Cryptic if they have something "planed already" for Nimoy.

    I don't think Cryptic has memorials storred in case an actor dies. :mad:

    Well, as far as likeness rights go, Cryptic at least has enough rights to put Mr. Nimoy's face up on the News Blog, so that's a good sign, right?

    I feel a memorial not necessarily a statue but something honoring the character portrayed by the actors that have passed is an honorable goal and should be sought out maybe in a cummunity development project for ideas on what to create and the message it conveys.
