Klingon Crew wears Klingon Uniforms (2nd time for this issue)

My KDF toon just got the Kobali Boff from D2D and I went to the tailor with the plan of using a KDF/Klingon uniform instead of the Kobali armor. What do I see... the uniform options for a Kobali on a KDF crew is... Federation uniforms.

It is one thing to be lazy and not make Romulan uniforms as an option for the Kobali Boff (similar post under Romulan Gameplay), but the KDF is a full faction and their are no Federation Boffs (or uniforms) on a KDF crew.

How about fixing this lazy mess.... :rolleyes:

    There's alot wrong at the KDF's tailor.
    Being it's the KDF it will be some time before they're dealt with...if at all.

    You got that all wrong. It's new quality content! It is to emphasize the new alliance, Starfleet Kobali liasons on Klingon ships - working as intented.

    Oh yeaah, you're right.....that's why my Klingon T5 ships after being upgraded to T5-U have a Fed. Constitution Class shield/hull graphic on the UI.....

    Who the hell codes this TRIBBLE??? Lloyd Christmas??? :confused:

    See, prior to T5U you are at war, you have your UI. After T5U it's a joint venture and Starfleet UIs are just better. Or something.

    I don't know. Geko expressed how happy he is to never bother with Klingon content again, so... what do you expect? ;)

    I use Winter Coats as uniforms for most of my crews.

    Picard comments that Starfleet thinks it would be a good idea for someone from the Enterprise to participate in the exchange program. He also notes that there is a Klingon vessel, the Pagh, in the area. Riker gets the idea, and volunteers to be the one to participate in the exchange because "nobody's done it before".

    The differnce is that the kobali in question is NOT a federation officer and she sure didn't join starfleet by embarking on a KDF ship.
    So it makes aboslutely no sense that an allied race who is not part of the federation only has access to starfleet uniforms while serving on a klingon ship.

    If this was on fed side an she would only be able to wear kdf stuff this would've been fixed on day 1, that's for sure.

    I HAVE winter coats as uniforms on my kdf with the normal kdf assecories like spine armor and shoulder pads, since all other kdf uniforms exept for the Bortasqu (tricky), veteran, and honor guard ones are bad I wear the winter coats! I also use the Kobali chest harness because it goes over the left shoulder while the my kdf sash goes over the right. Shanara looks awesome (Always!)

    As rodentmaster already confirmed, yes, unfortunately. :(

    It's not something gamebreaking, but to me it sucks seeing a Fed. cruiser graphic while I'm in my BoP and my entire theme is dark orange/red....that saucer and nacelles just don't compute.

    yep, kdf kobali boffs have federation uniform option
    but that honestly does not surprise me...


    afterall romulan embassy boffs are not allowed to wear "romulan federation uniforms" or "romulan kdf uniforms" even if you are a romulan captain and all your other romulan boffs can wear such costume options

    the romulan embassy boffs remain "black sheeps" even if they serve on a romulan ships with romulan captains

    Yeah, I guess when you hate the FEDs and only ROOT (snort!) for the KDF, everything is backwards.

    Okay, again and slowly:

    They are Kobali. Not Starfleet officers. They are unrelated and should either be able to wear their own attire or the one belonging to the ship they are on. For feds that is possible. For KDF it's not because nobody gave a Targ's juicy TRIBBLE... *looks behind* yes it's still there. Phew.

    That pisses me off so much, its like they aren't even trying. I mean I get bugs do happen but come on.

    exchange officer, come on now feddy you can say it! exchange officer. not exactly the same thing as a full crew member.

    its not just hte upgrade changing the UI how long has it been now and we still get starfleet computer voice and hailing whistle.

    and so much of the costume tailor being broke kdf side, i have bought and paid for extra costume slots that haven't worked for over 2 years now.


    so in short they haven't been trying for quit some time now on the KDF side.

    Have to say, I am tempted to revive that old "master list of KDF issues" thread lately - we'd at least make a clearly visible and coherent list of what's troubling us in terms of interrupted gameplay on the red side.

    What, and give Cryptic a definite list of what to ignore from now until the day the servers go offline?

    With slightly less sarcasm: honestly that's about as big a pipe dream as hoping they'll fix some of these long standing bugs, even ones on the fed side, without monetised incentives getting involved to milk us dry.


    I did say slightly less.... maybe I'm just a cynic.

    It can't hurt, the new EP does seem to engage more with the player base than his predecessor ever did well so far anyway.

    I've been wondering about that...I'm beginning to think it's intentional.

    Got my B'rel to T5-U.. I have the BoP graphic intact though.. Guess its a random bug or its now fixed for anyone who upgrades now?
