Elite Delta Flyers after TB Buff?

Has anyone tried the Elite Delta flyers after the buff to Tachyon beam? They have TB III, so I'm wondering if they're worth getting now, after the buff.

    yeah that's what borticus said but mine are firing off as often as i can and they seem to be draining more. My normal delta flyers took the shields down on the tac cube in ISA using the breen carrier.

    He also said that any NPCs that are using the Tachyon Beam skill specifically will see the boost. It's only those who have some other gimmick that drains shields that aren't affected by the change.

    So yes, I believe the Delta Flyers got boosted. Certainly seems that way to me.

    I'm considering adding DF's to my build, partially because of the buff to TB, but also because of the Starship Trait "Improved Tachyon Beam." Does anyone know if this trait works on my pets, or just on my BOffs' abilities?

    It does not work with the pets, which is good. With a high flow cap skill, the improved tachyon beam trait is probably the best heal in the game. I'm really considering dropping some shield heals and taking tachyon beam with the trait on one of my characters.

    As he said. The pets DID get boosted in their Tachyon Beam skill, but any consoles you have equipped on your ship affect your ship only.
