Squeaking out DPS on a Wells Sci

The empty console slot is a constriction anchor, which adds some more damage. As a sci main, I also have the lv 15 sci R&D trait, 458 PrtG, Reciprocity and AHOD.

My question, for the DPSers:

Is there anything I can do to squeak out more juice on this ship besides bringing everything to Epic, or am I capped? Either through changing boffs or possibly getting rid of the CC Relay and/or Plasmonic Leech for something else (what, I have no idea).

    Actually this is similar to my wells build only instead of prtg is for flow caps.

    My PrtG build (Beams + delta set + Adapted set) for the same ship has me averaging anywhere from 16-20k (ISA Parse DPS League Numbers not default)

    I totally wish I could hold some of the numbers ive had/seen just after killing the first borg cube with my wells..(upwards of 60k).

    You could technically, but you wouldn't be shooting very often. You'd have to wait for your buffs to recharge.
    That's sort of how the 100k+ dps'ers do it (with the help of 4 recluses spamming apb&bfaw+their pets which spam abp/bfaw)

    They position themselves, buff everything while the recluses "setup" for them, then drop cloak and unload everything....destroying everything in the blink of an eye. Rinse and repeat for next mob.

    But I've hit 32k on cure adv, and 27-28k on isa in pugs.
    I'm a sci, so that fairly decent.
    I used the Jen Hadar Escort carrier to accomplish this.
    Plasma (CrtDx3) beam build with Rom experimental beam and kcb.
    Plasma exploitersx5
    Fleet AMP warpcore.
    Bioneural/tachy/assimilated console/Rom plasma console.

    The only sci skills I use are Hazard Emitters1 and Energy siphon1 (with plasmonic Leetch)

    Sadly I do better numbers with a bfaw/energy build then I do with 500+ partgens science magic in pve.
    Very frustrating. It just doenst do as well as my jhec beam scort.
    And I used Gw3 + TBR1 x2. (With the doff)
    I'd averge about 15-25k in pugs with full out sci magic in pve. I dunno. Guess they'd rather we beam everything to death.

    I've tried the transphasic cluster, and while it's nice, the CD is just too long. Plus, I don't think it outclasses any of the Torpedos I have in the fore slots. I may swap it out for the Omega in the back to try it out though (that's there so I can rapidly unload it as I turn)

    The thoron beam array in the back is solely for the iso set bonus - 50k+ crit on a 1 minute recharge is pretty satisfying.

    As for the disruptor Omni, it's to benefit from the CC Relay, which itself isthere for the bonus radiation damage to the neutronic. Not sure if I can justify it there or not, but I'll do more testing on that.


    RIght now I'm more concerned about the boff, doff, and console layout more than anything else. My fore weapons are set, my aft weapons may tweak a bit, but I'm fairly sure I'm getting the most I can out of those as well (Since I run max aux and 1-2 beams, I'm never running much in weapon power. It's there just to trigger APB and SST).


    I do appreciate all the input people have been giving me though. :) Also, I know I could do more with a FAW pew pew boat. I already have a Klink that does that, so there's no point in building another.

    What doffs are you using for your build? With one tactical team to keep it at global you need to utilize 1-2 doffs but you can drop the FAW since your not getting much out of since its 1 omni and a BA in the aft with a sci ship i feel that ability is wasted. Also no science team?

    also there are some other good consoles to get that work well with prtg like isometric charge which you can hit very hard especially in combo with GW.

    You could try to use EP2Aux1 instead of EP2S1 and equip 1-3 Xindi-technicians. They have a chance to boost exotic damage when EP2Aux is activated. Then replace one HE1 for science team 1 and you should be fine.
