Instead of debuffing -100% accuracy, it gives your opponent uber accuracy. If you suppress someone using surgical, guaranteed overflow that's likely going to crit more than ever.
Check "bonus accuracy".

what the hell seriously. Who made this?

Hope they fix this soon. Suppression barrage is about the only reason to even think of running a command boff power atm (maybe overwhelm emitters too, but it would be a lot nicer if buffed by flow caps).
I was thinking of getting a presidio for its awesome excelsior/prometheus offspring look but I reckon I'll hold off till this is fixed and the power tuning (read: nerfing of intel, buff to command) is done.
I just wish command boff stuff sucked a little less for pvp. Even if supression barrage 3 worked right, I just dont see it beating out the intel stuff, especially OSS, SS and Ionic Turb.
Thanks for the warning and info though riccardo.
Then please fill out my dissertation survey on feline attachment, it'd be a massive help (-:

dunno what to say... except that you summarized exactly my thoughts. GG on that.

i'm not surprised this is bugged, but i wouldn't be surprised if it's just a tool tip error either.
I'd love to do that, so if you or someone else wants to do that, I'd be up for it.
It may even be a tooltip error, as a friend of mine told me he actually missed a lot of times while hit by suppression, but I can't ignore the tooltip indeed.
Turns out the tooltip on my ship about Suppression says -100% accuracy.
the accuracy tooltip on my enemy raises by the same amount.
Parsing shows that there is nor buff, nor debuff of accuracy for the enemy. My testing partner did 62% acc without buffs, and 64% acc while under suppression.
updated bug thread accordingly to include pics of it.
that is a small difference and doesn't show anything.
ACC effect is tied to opponents defense value(in this case yours) and attackers Weapon mods as well.
Your defense should be low while standing(were you standing still?) and he shouldn't miss a shot(depending on the weapon) only thing that would suppression barrage show in this case is lowering of ACC overflow(higher crit hits) and only if he doesn't use FAW or Torp spread which dont benefit from it anyway since they have 100% acc.
From 2 hrs of shooting people for armor pen trait i had only 3 misses, all 3 with Bio HY.
That said, that ability is broken by many reports i hear in game.

both tests were made under the same scenarios, I was costantly going at maximum impulse speed during combat.
I did the suppression barrage test for five times, same result.
Does that have diminishing returns? Or are you literally unable to hit anything (beyond autohit abilities like Torp Spread)?
my god... lol, this looks like the armor pen problem, just a "whooops, dev error"
ric posted this 3 times... but bort responded to one of the threads.
Ah ok, perfect, missed that thread
I know how to be the bug report cop when I want to.
lol
.I.

They should hire me as "the-one-who-checks-stuff-before-going-live".
After eight hours from discovering the bug, a bro in Ker'rat asked me in zone chat "ric, give me 100% accuracy!" while I was on the Presidio. I swear there was no living PvPer who wasn't aware of the issue by then. lol

What I really hope it means is that cryptic is feeling the pain of all the pvpers giving up on them and making their pockets feel very light from things no longer being tested, and evaluated. I wonder how many more bugs cryptic will introduce without the pvpers constantly testing. I bet this product is about to get much worse LOL
