*A shield system is hurried into working and it manages to block a few shots, just enough for the freighter crews to retreat while the ensigns start shooting down the death gliders, twenty soldiers with rockets and the hurried cannon start shooting at the transports.*
The Captain: I must go! They are bombing the camp!
*The Captain runs out picking his rifle up*
The Captain: Ensign Daniel! Get forty men and find a secondary camp! Crew members get as much equipment as possible! The rest of you ensigns prepare to gun down those who threaten the innocents!
Captain Frank: I must go too! You lot move this stuff along!
*Forty ensigns break off from the line to defend the fleeing crew members laiden with equipment, the Captain standing with the ensigns while Frank organises the retreat while carrying two microphones and a monitoring device to some caves just under the freighter wreck*
Captain Frank: Alright, so do we only have the eighty ensigns back there?
The Former first officer: We lost twenty of my men, and four science ensigns, in addition to all canopies, five days of food, one sensory set and one television, but we do have the freighter ruins, they are stable and we can tie the airlocks into the cave system we have, it will take a while.
Captain Frank: Please do so, but make sure we have the protection installed first.
*Nizure aproches the bodys of the Jaffa, and begins a more detailed scan. before she gets far a eel like thing jumps from the belly of one of the Jaffa towards Sirius. Nizure chatches it in her hand before it gets far.*
Nizure: I belive I have discovered the sourse of the strange bio reading.
*she runs her tricorder by it*
Nizure: it is aome sort of parisite or symbote. Everyone should be carefull around the bodies.
*Sirius threw himself aside when he saw a worm-like creature making a jump towards him. Luckily it wasn't able to went much further before Nizure catched it with her hand.*
Sirius: Thanks! I wouldn't like this thing getting inside my body.
*Then he tapped his commbadge and hailed Dragonstar once again. As usual T'Luminareth responded almost immediately.*
T'Lumiareth: Go ahead captain.
Sirius: We've just discovered some kind of parasitic worms inside the bodies of Sobek's guards. It is possible he also carries one of them, so notify Dr. Keller about it immediately and tell her to be very careful about it, as the creatures seems to be able to jump very high few meters in distance.
T'Luminareth: Understood sir. I'll inform her right away.
*While Nine described the symbol, T'rela walked towards the control panel. She started pressing buttons. The first six chevrons locked. Then she pressed the seventh button. A lock was established. Less than a moment later, the gate fired out the same beam of liquid-like substance it had before, to stabilize into a new active gate.*
T'rela: Well, shall we see what is on the other side?
Jack: No. Not yet. I am all for jumping in where angels and fools fear, but I draw the line at this. I get the distinct inpression you know where that goes, and that just adds to the qestions I think we need to answer here first.
Daniel: I agree with captain Taybourne. We shouldn't go ahead before we can prepare ourselves properly for what might be on the other side. We should also send some kind of probe first to investigate.
Sirius: My chief engineer is correct. I will not authorize passage to the other side before we're done with investigation here. And I'm sure that admiral Kran agrees with me too.
*Meanwhile the crew of the freighter beamed down on the surface and started setting up a camp in order to help with investigation.*
Sirius: This is getting a little out of hand, but we do like all the help we can get. (then he turns toward his officer) Alright everyone, help those people set up a camp and get our APC closer to the portal. We might need it at anytime.
*Everyone acknowledged their orders and got to work.*
In the meantime aboard USS Dragonstar
*While Jennifer Keller was examining Sobek, he woke up. Sobek became immediately aware of his surroundings and took the chance to grabb the doctor by her throat, lifting her up in the air.*
Sobek: You will die, Hok'tar!
Jennifer tried to defend herself but Sobek was too strong and therefor he managed to throw her at the wall, knocking her unconscious. Then he walked over to the nearby table and collected his gear. He pressed a button on his hand device that seemed to make it function as a communicator.*
Sobek: Ha'tak!
*As soon as he said that a fleet of warships consisting of 40 Ha'tak, 70 Al'kesh, 120 Tel'tak, and one Cheops Warship droped out of hyperspace and began attacking three Starfleet vessels.*
Kran: How did you- Never mind, we are going to have to put this experiment on hold until we figure out what this Sobek is about.
*Kran's combage beeps and he taps it.*
Ellen: Sir, we are being attacked! A fleet of unknown ships just... appeared and started firing! Their weapons aren't that pow-
*She is interrupted by the sound of a console exploding.*
Ellen: Their weapons aren't that powerful, but there are so many I don't know how long we can hold out!
*While admiral was communicating with his ship, at the same time, T'Lumiraneth contacted Sirius in order to describe him what was happening in the orbit.*
Sirius: Alright, we'll be on our way back to the ship as soon as possible.
*As soon as he ended communication with the ship, Daniel parked their APC close to the DHD. Once he was out of it, Sirius approached him.*
Sirius: Lieutenant, I want you to inform our officers to grab their gear and get to the APC immediately. We're heading back to the Dragonstar.
Daniel: Why the rush all of sudden? We haven't finished...
*At that moment a large number of unidentified ships started descending towards them and bombing everything in sight.*
Back aboard Dragonstar
*T'Luminareth was launching quantum and photon torpedoes at attacking vessels followed by a heavy phaser/pulse phaser fire. At the same time, Cardassian helmsman was trying to avoid incoming bursts of energy from Pyramid-like vessels. A few larger vessels and several more smaller ones were quickly decimated by a Dragonstar's weaponry. Some were even sent spinning out of the control towards the planets atmosphere. However, while Dragonstar's bridge officers were occupied with fighting, Sobek made his way to the bridge and started threatening to T'Luminareth.*
Sobek: You will return me to the chapa'ai!
T'Luminareth: I will not do such thing. (she taps her commbadge) Security!
*At that moment a full squad of marines bursts out from the second turbolift and this time knocks the Sobek out for good before he could even point his hand towards T'Luminareth.*
T'Luminareth: Get him into the brig immediately and restrain him too. We can't take anymore chances.
Back on the surface
Daniel: (looking at the ensuing bombardment) Oh, that explains why.
*Then he quickly ran off to gather all the officers from Dragonstar near the APC.
Kran: Can we use the shuttle to get some air support?
Sirius was first to respond: Yes, we can. I'll inform the Dragonstar to send us some fighter support. Meanwhile, I suggest you go with us in the vehicle so we can get back to our yacht and in the orbit as soon as possible.

T'rela: Considering we haven't been contacted yet, we'll take matters into our own hands. How many cloaking mines do we still have left?
Nine: Enough sir, but mining moving targets isn't the-
T'rela: I don't intend to. How damaged are the Starfleet vessels?
Nine: Shaken up, but otherwise no substantial damage.
T'rela: Allright. Stand by to beam in a minefield between the enemy fleet and the Starfleet vessels. We need a way to prevent their small craft from entering. Danava, how far are you with the plasma torpedoes?
Danava: Plasma torpedoes have been given a high yield. Standing by to launch.
T'rela: Okay. Decloak and execute these orders. Make sure to focuss all forward disruptors on enemy fighters. We got to take pressure off Starfleet.
*The R'kota decloaked. Immediately, the Mogai unleashed deadly volleys from her mighty cannons, creating numerous explosions of small craft. A vast amount of mines were transported in front of the Starfleet ships, and armed themselves. Meanwhile, plasma torpedoes were fired off towards the Ha'taks, closing in fast.*
The Captain: Ah you know what, let's just get the rest of the supplies! This position offers us nothing.
*The eighty ensigns take what's left and begin walking with the Captain to the freighter wreck. the First Officer and Captain Frank are outside the former front cargo bay and now gate to the base*
The First Officer: Captain Frank, we have extended internal communications to the cave system, but the third cargo bay is two floors up because of a local hill. Apart from that and the fact the bridge is resting off the edge of a cliff the ship is ours. We are reinforcing the bridge so it is not in danger of falling into a lake.
Captain Frank: Good to hear. Don't mind a spot of fishing later?
The First Officer: Not until I know my brother is safe sir.
Captain Frank: Alright.
*Frank walks off into the base while the first officer just rests against the gate*
Lege: (Orion female at tactical)Shields down to 86%.
Foabyngoa: Helm, swing our bow through the largest number of enemy ships. Set cannons to scatter volley.

*Ranger sweeps an area of space before it with its quad and dual heavy cannons. Two dozen of the smaller ships are destroyed out right while the medium ones are heavily damaged.*
Foabyngoa: target those large ships with spreads of torpedoes.

He used his hand devise to push the security guard on duty into a wall and then turned his attention to the acting captain.*

*Kran turns to the captains.*

The Captain: Only half a mile left ensigns! Soon we can all rest within a fort! And I can get a proper drink.
*The eighty ensigns continue their journey while dodging forest fires and bombardment as the Captain drinks an odd fruit juice from his flask, but the freighter fort seems quite peaceful because of decent sound-proofing, while captain Frank is in the main communications and strategy room which used to be cargo bay 4.*
Captain Frank: When will Flynn be here? He has the frequency to contact those Romulans.
The Communications Officer: He will be here in ten minutes, we can contact the Future Starfleet officers at the gate.
Captain Frank: Alright, relay it to booth 1. Time to tell them the bad news.
*Frank walks into a cargo container which has a large desk with three computers displaying the ground and space battle unfolding, a microphone attached to the table, a headset and a simple chair which Frank sits at with the headset on and the switch on.*
Captain Frank: Officers, so far 6500 or so soldiers have landed on the planet, we cannot tell weather they are heading to your position, here or just staying in their encampments. Thankfully we are managing to shoot down any of those odd fighters and transports that threaten us or Flynn to a reasonable extent, but we cannot offer you any protection, so either use that gate or head towards the freighter.
OOC: Unless we see activity occuring before the evening, I think it would be best for you to make a post in which you can contact me. But lets give them a few more hours.

*The army arrives at the fortress, and the First Officer waiting walks to an ensign the duo of brothers head off into the fort followed by the ensigns and the Captain, when the Captain makes it to the bridge he sees where his ship finally rests as he sits on his chair.*
The Captain: Computer, please broadcast on the frequency I will input.
*The Captain admires the scene in front of him as he inputs the frequency to the Romulans. The Captain then takes a microphone out of his chair up to him.*
The Captain: Tell me, do you know how they communicate ship to ship wise? If so I can stop them...
*The Captain dives out of his chair just a second or two before a strange pod crashes through the window and it lands in the chair. The Captain soon gets up and picks the pod up as he extends the microphone up to him.*
The Captain: A pod has landed in my chair. It might be Romulan in design, the size of a small bin, has weird depressions all around it and a button on the left side of it.
*A photon torpedo from USS Ranger exloded violently above Sirius, Jack and their officers who waited for admiral Kran and his officers to join them on the trip to Blue Star - Dragonstar's yacht. An explosion wiped out about two dozens of Death Gliders, dozen of Tel'Tak transporters and a few Al'kesh bombers. Sirius recognized that moment as a perfect one for his next order, so he tapped his communicator and hailed Dragonstar.*

Sirius: Stormbringer!
T'Luminareth: Acknowledged sir.
*That particular word which Sirius said was more than enough for T'Luminareth to order the launch of all Dragonstar's combat capable auxiliary craft. But before that she did something else too. As the 6 Type 9 shuttlecrafts, 4 Type 11 shuttlecrafts, 4 Delta Flyers, 2 Yellowstone Runabouts and 20 Gryphon fighters started were launched from the both Dragonstar's shuttlebay, T'Luminareth has been clearing the way for them by blasting enemy vessels into oblivion, while Galen has been maneuvering the ship towards the planet's atmosphere. One of the Ha'Tak vessel on her way was struck with an overcharged phaser spinal lance cannons fire. The enemy ship was cut in three parts before she could do any serious damage to Dragonstar's regenerative shields. Meanwhile, several of Death Gliders were gunned down by Dragonstar's retractable dual-cannons pulse phaser turrets, while two Al'kesh bombers were destroyed by Dragonstar's quantum torpedoes launched from her rear launchers.*
T'Luminareth: Take us into high orbit Galen!
Galen: Yes mam. (he said as he navigated Dragonstar through the lines of enemy ships and between mines droped by Romulan ship which has been also fighting unidentified enemy vessels)
*It wasn't long before Dragonstar entered planet's high orbit and launched a volley of quantum torpedoes which detonated somewhere above battlezone sending turning even more of enemy fighters and bombers into exploding fire balls. By that action, Dragonstar made a way for her support craft to enter planet's orbit and start blasting enemy forces.*
Sirius: (when he saw one of his Gryphoon fighters in the air chasing the Al'Kesh bomber) Look, those are fighters from Dragonstar. (then he turns towards Jack) We should go now to the Blue Star while they are distracting enemy fighters. Tell the admiral that we cannot wait him much longer. I'm going to start the engine. (enters APC and fires it up)

The First Officer: Not really sir, but the good news is that we have extended the ship using the wreckages of those ships falling from orbit, and she is soon going to fly amazingly.
The Captain: How?
The First Officer: We have cannibalized the abandoned and smouldering transports as well as shot down fighters, we will have less power and it'll be slower but we can fly and have enough room for everyone in a few hours.
The Captain: Why don't we mount some of those odd weapons onto the ship, we can at least make her shoot down more fighters and possibly even bomb the landing zones.
The First Officer: I'll see what the engineers can muster sir. And see if the science department can see what this pod does.
*As the First Officer picks the pod up and walks off the Captain sits down again as the window is replaced by a force field.*

*on the ground Jack orders his away team into the APC. Shelana and Cilly have a couple staff weapons with them. At the look Jack gives Shelana.*
Shelana: What? We should study their gear.
*the Admiral climbs in behind them and says punch it.*

Kran: Punch it!
OOC: Trying to find a way to get Sobek off the Dragonstar. It may take a minute...
OOC: might have to wait till after the battle. Then when we all get together again, find a reason for him and the rest of us to go through the gate.

*As soon as everyone got inside the vehicle, including the admiral Kran who closed the vehicle's door, Sirius heavily stepped on the gas and started moving them away from a battle zone. Several staff blast hit the vehicle causing it only minor damage.*
Sirius: Extend the shields Mr. Sheppard!
Daniel: Wouldn't that slow us down?
*A bomb from an Al'kesh drops nearby them giving the strong shudder to APC.*
Sirius: We can afford ourselves to be a little slower, but we can't afford ourselves to be destroyed, so extend those shields now.
Daniel: Right away sir. (extends shields around APC)
Scarlett: How much time do we need to get to the yacht?
Lissan: About 10 minutes at this speed.
Jack: Can't we go a little faster?
Sirius: Unfortunately no. This is the top speed.
*Another few bombs and staff blasts hit the ground nearby.*
M'Toui: I think it is the time we respond in proper fashion.
*M'Toui then activates APC's pulse phaser cannon and starts shooting back at enemy fighters and bombers. Just a minute later he shot down one of the Death Gliders which crashed into the hill nearby.*
About 10 minutes later
*Sirius parked the APC in Blue Star's hangar and powered off the engines. Just a few second later they all got out from the vehicle and climbed by ladder to the upper deck of Dragonstar's yacht. Sirius quickly ran towards the pilot seat, while Daniel took systems control seat and M'Toui settled himself in combat seat. As they powered up the yacht systems another few bolts of energy struck the ground nearby and one of them hit the yacht's aft thruster.*
Daniel: Our aft thruster is damaged, sir.
Sirius: It obviously is.
*Sirius was having trouble lifting the yacht up in the air with the damaged thruster, but he eventually managed it. A few moments after ascent one of the Al'Kesh craft started chasing them and unleashed a barrage of fire upon yacht. Her aft shields flickered absorbing most of the energy. M'Toui quickly responded with firing a photon torpedo at Al'Kesh from Blue Star's rear launcher. Being highly maneuverable Al'Kesh avoided the torpedo and continued the chase soon accompanied by four Death Gliders. M'Toui fired several shots from aft phaser banks and soon damaged one of the Death Gliders which couldn't keep up anymore and started crashing down.*
Sirius: Alright, it's time for Defiant maneuver.
*As he said that, Sirius made a full 360 degrees vertical loop by which he positioned Blue Star behind the Al'kesh.*
Sirius: (yells) Now M'Toui!
M'Toui: Qa'pla!
*The moment he said that, M'Toui fired two quantum torpedoes followed by a heavy pulse phaser fire at the Al'Kesh. Both torpedoes and pulse phaser bursts hit the Al'Kesh rear damaging her engines and sending it spiraling through the air towards the ground.*
Daniel: Nice one captain!
Sirius: Thank you Daniel. It is actually one of the tricks you learn at the advanced piloting classes.
Scarlett: Sorry to interrupt your discussion, but I believe we have a serious problem in front of us.
*Everyone looks through the Blue Star's forward windows at the oncoming squadron of dozens of Death Gliders and several Al'Kesh bombers on intercept course with them.*
Sirius: Indeed. (taps his commbadge) Sirius to Dragonstar! Are you still at your previous position?
T'Luminareth: We have moved a little further, but we are able to assist again if you need.
Sirius: Good. Fire several torpedoes at the coordinates I am sending to you. (sends coordinates by his console to Dragonstar's computer)
T'Luminareth: Understood, sir...(after a brief pause)...torpedoes away.
Sirius: Thank you for assistance. Sirius out.
*As torpedoes closed towards the atmosphere, Al'kesh and Death Gliders started moving in different directions trying to get the Blue Star in the crossfire.*
Sirius: Damn it! It looks like they won't fall for that trick again.
*Sirius said that as the torpoes exploded in their vicinity causing only minimal damage to enemy vessels and destroying only a handful of fighters. Meanwhile Sirius started ascending again trying to avoid being caught in the crossfire, but with the maneuverability of enemy craft, that proven to be impossible. However, after a few moments of taking heavy fire by enemy vessels, Dragonstar and Ranger's fighters arrived at scene and started shooting down both Death Gliders and Al'Kesh bombers making a way for Blue Star's escape.*
Sirius: (excited) Alright! Now we have finally a chance to punch through.
*It took a mere seconds before Sirius took them out of a harms way while M'Toui was clearing their path of enemy craft by a heavy pulse phaser fire and quantum torpedoes. Dragonstar and Ranger's fighters were doing the same while flying around Blue Star. Sirius then opened ship to ship comm channel.*
Sirius: Thanks for the help people! We wouldn't make it without you. We are heading back for Dragonstar now, so we could use some escort. Sirius out.
*About two minutes later, Blue Star reached the Dragonstar escorted by the 4 Gryphoon fighters. Sirius quickly attached Blue Star to Dragonstar's ventral hull and powered down her systems. Quickly after he and his officers, admiral Kran, captain Taybourne and their respective officers left the yacht and took the closest turbolift towards Dragonstar's main bridge. As soon as they were there Sirius addressed the admiral and captain.*
Sirius: Now that we are here, you can return to your ships and we can focus on dealing with what's left of enemy vessels. I hope we meet again later under better circumstances.
*Admiral Kran and captain Taybourne thanked the Sirius for helping them get off from the planet and after that they left to the turbolift which would take them to the nearest transporter room. Sirius then settled in his captain chair while watching at the battlefield on viewscreen.*
Sirius: Alright subcommander. What's our status?

The Captain: Everyone aboard, we will be leaving soon. Due to the sudden abundance of ruins and wrecks the brilliant engineers aboard will in a few hours get this old ruin to the nearest starbase.
*The Captain turns the internal communications off and he just sits, watching the battle through an intelligence monitor.*
*The First Officer walks onto the bridge followed by the chiefs.*
The First Officer: We are ready to depart sir.
The Captain: Let's go then.
*The ship attempts to go into orbit multiple times before it just begins flying about the planet.*
The Science Ensign: I cannot explain it sir, we are just being bounced back into the atmosphere, we could warp in orbit but it would damage the planet and possibly ignite the nacelles.
The Captain: This planet has already been bombed to bits, so let's save these villagers, we don't bow down to the prime directive.
The First Officer: Please beam one village aboard chief.
The Science Ensign: Yes sir.
*A village is beamed aboard and recruited. And captain Frank activates one communications panel.*
Captain Frank: Flynn, this is Frank. The other villages are willing to use the spare soldier transports that we have all captured, we just need pilots.
The Captain: Well send old Greg's squad to the transports.
The Science Ensign to Starfleet: We are organising a full evacuation using captured ships and our extra rooms. If you could spare any escorts we will work on the fleet.
*As ensigns are beamed to the twenty filled evacuation transports the fourteen willing villages wait eagerly to set off in the captured invasion transports as they are modified the Captain hails his evacuation fleet.*
The Captain: This is Captain Flynn of the evacuation flagship Return, within two hours we will depart to the nearest Starbase. Meanwhile our engineers will modify your transports.

*A shield system is hurried into working and it manages to block a few shots, just enough for the freighter crews to retreat while the ensigns start shooting down the death gliders, twenty soldiers with rockets and the hurried cannon start shooting at the transports.*
The Captain: I must go! They are bombing the camp!
*The Captain runs out picking his rifle up*
The Captain: Ensign Daniel! Get forty men and find a secondary camp! Crew members get as much equipment as possible! The rest of you ensigns prepare to gun down those who threaten the innocents!
Captain Frank: I must go too! You lot move this stuff along!
*Forty ensigns break off from the line to defend the fleeing crew members laiden with equipment, the Captain standing with the ensigns while Frank organises the retreat while carrying two microphones and a monitoring device to some caves just under the freighter wreck*
Captain Frank: Alright, so do we only have the eighty ensigns back there?
The Former first officer: We lost twenty of my men, and four science ensigns, in addition to all canopies, five days of food, one sensory set and one television, but we do have the freighter ruins, they are stable and we can tie the airlocks into the cave system we have, it will take a while.
Captain Frank: Please do so, but make sure we have the protection installed first.
*Sirius threw himself aside when he saw a worm-like creature making a jump towards him. Luckily it wasn't able to went much further before Nizure catched it with her hand.*

*Then he tapped his commbadge and hailed Dragonstar once again. As usual T'Luminareth responded almost immediately.*

Sirius: We've just discovered some kind of parasitic worms inside the bodies of Sobek's guards. It is possible he also carries one of them, so notify Dr. Keller about it immediately and tell her to be very careful about it, as the creatures seems to be able to jump very high few meters in distance.
T'Luminareth: Understood sir. I'll inform her right away.
Sirius: Good. Sirius out.
Daniel: I agree with captain Taybourne. We shouldn't go ahead before we can prepare ourselves properly for what might be on the other side. We should also send some kind of probe first to investigate.
Sirius: My chief engineer is correct. I will not authorize passage to the other side before we're done with investigation here. And I'm sure that admiral Kran agrees with me too.
*Meanwhile the crew of the freighter beamed down on the surface and started setting up a camp in order to help with investigation.*
Sirius: This is getting a little out of hand, but we do like all the help we can get. (then he turns toward his officer) Alright everyone, help those people set up a camp and get our APC closer to the portal. We might need it at anytime.
*Everyone acknowledged their orders and got to work.*
In the meantime aboard USS Dragonstar
*While Jennifer Keller was examining Sobek, he woke up. Sobek became immediately aware of his surroundings and took the chance to grabb the doctor by her throat, lifting her up in the air.*
Sobek: You will die, Hok'tar!
Jennifer tried to defend herself but Sobek was too strong and therefor he managed to throw her at the wall, knocking her unconscious. Then he walked over to the nearby table and collected his gear. He pressed a button on his hand device that seemed to make it function as a communicator.*
Sobek: Ha'tak!
*As soon as he said that a fleet of warships consisting of 40 Ha'tak, 70 Al'kesh, 120 Tel'tak, and one Cheops Warship droped out of hyperspace and began attacking three Starfleet vessels.*
Back on the planet
*While admiral was communicating with his ship, at the same time, T'Lumiraneth contacted Sirius in order to describe him what was happening in the orbit.*
Sirius: Alright, we'll be on our way back to the ship as soon as possible.
*As soon as he ended communication with the ship, Daniel parked their APC close to the DHD. Once he was out of it, Sirius approached him.*
Sirius: Lieutenant, I want you to inform our officers to grab their gear and get to the APC immediately. We're heading back to the Dragonstar.
Daniel: Why the rush all of sudden? We haven't finished...
*At that moment a large number of unidentified ships started descending towards them and bombing everything in sight.*
Back aboard Dragonstar
*T'Luminareth was launching quantum and photon torpedoes at attacking vessels followed by a heavy phaser/pulse phaser fire. At the same time, Cardassian helmsman was trying to avoid incoming bursts of energy from Pyramid-like vessels. A few larger vessels and several more smaller ones were quickly decimated by a Dragonstar's weaponry. Some were even sent spinning out of the control towards the planets atmosphere. However, while Dragonstar's bridge officers were occupied with fighting, Sobek made his way to the bridge and started threatening to T'Luminareth.*
Sobek: You will return me to the chapa'ai!
T'Luminareth: I will not do such thing. (she taps her commbadge) Security!
*At that moment a full squad of marines bursts out from the second turbolift and this time knocks the Sobek out for good before he could even point his hand towards T'Luminareth.*
T'Luminareth: Get him into the brig immediately and restrain him too. We can't take anymore chances.
Back on the surface
Daniel: (looking at the ensuing bombardment) Oh, that explains why.
*Then he quickly ran off to gather all the officers from Dragonstar near the APC.
Sirius was first to respond: Yes, we can. I'll inform the Dragonstar to send us some fighter support. Meanwhile, I suggest you go with us in the vehicle so we can get back to our yacht and in the orbit as soon as possible.

Nine: Numerous ships are attacking the Starfleet task force. Their weapons appear to be ineffective, but their amount is too many for the starships to handle. There are about 40 larger ships and numerous small craft. What are your orders?
T'rela: Considering we haven't been contacted yet, we'll take matters into our own hands. How many cloaking mines do we still have left?
Nine: Enough sir, but mining moving targets isn't the-
T'rela: I don't intend to. How damaged are the Starfleet vessels?
Nine: Shaken up, but otherwise no substantial damage.
T'rela: Allright. Stand by to beam in a minefield between the enemy fleet and the Starfleet vessels. We need a way to prevent their small craft from entering. Danava, how far are you with the plasma torpedoes?
Danava: Plasma torpedoes have been given a high yield. Standing by to launch.
T'rela: Okay. Decloak and execute these orders. Make sure to focuss all forward disruptors on enemy fighters. We got to take pressure off Starfleet.
*The R'kota decloaked. Immediately, the Mogai unleashed deadly volleys from her mighty cannons, creating numerous explosions of small craft. A vast amount of mines were transported in front of the Starfleet ships, and armed themselves. Meanwhile, plasma torpedoes were fired off towards the Ha'taks, closing in fast.*

*The eighty ensigns take what's left and begin walking with the Captain to the freighter wreck. the First Officer and Captain Frank are outside the former front cargo bay and now gate to the base*
The First Officer: Captain Frank, we have extended internal communications to the cave system, but the third cargo bay is two floors up because of a local hill. Apart from that and the fact the bridge is resting off the edge of a cliff the ship is ours. We are reinforcing the bridge so it is not in danger of falling into a lake.
Captain Frank: Good to hear. Don't mind a spot of fishing later?
The First Officer: Not until I know my brother is safe sir.
Captain Frank: Alright.
*Frank walks off into the base while the first officer just rests against the gate*
Lege: (Orion female at tactical)Shields down to 86%.

*Ranger sweeps an area of space before it with its quad and dual heavy cannons. Two dozen of the smaller ships are destroyed out right while the medium ones are heavily damaged.*

*The eighty ensigns continue their journey while dodging forest fires and bombardment as the Captain drinks an odd fruit juice from his flask, but the freighter fort seems quite peaceful because of decent sound-proofing, while captain Frank is in the main communications and strategy room which used to be cargo bay 4.*
Captain Frank: When will Flynn be here? He has the frequency to contact those Romulans.
The Communications Officer: He will be here in ten minutes, we can contact the Future Starfleet officers at the gate.
Captain Frank: Alright, relay it to booth 1. Time to tell them the bad news.
*Frank walks into a cargo container which has a large desk with three computers displaying the ground and space battle unfolding, a microphone attached to the table, a headset and a simple chair which Frank sits at with the headset on and the switch on.*
Captain Frank: Officers, so far 6500 or so soldiers have landed on the planet, we cannot tell weather they are heading to your position, here or just staying in their encampments. Thankfully we are managing to shoot down any of those odd fighters and transports that threaten us or Flynn to a reasonable extent, but we cannot offer you any protection, so either use that gate or head towards the freighter.

*The Captain dives out of his chair just a second or two before a strange pod crashes through the window and it lands in the chair. The Captain soon gets up and picks the pod up as he extends the microphone up to him.*
The Captain: A pod has landed in my chair. It might be Romulan in design, the size of a small bin, has weird depressions all around it and a button on the left side of it.
Sirius: Verax to Dragonstar!
T'Luminareth: Yes captain?
Sirius: Stormbringer!
T'Luminareth: Acknowledged sir.
*That particular word which Sirius said was more than enough for T'Luminareth to order the launch of all Dragonstar's combat capable auxiliary craft. But before that she did something else too. As the 6 Type 9 shuttlecrafts, 4 Type 11 shuttlecrafts, 4 Delta Flyers, 2 Yellowstone Runabouts and 20 Gryphon fighters started were launched from the both Dragonstar's shuttlebay, T'Luminareth has been clearing the way for them by blasting enemy vessels into oblivion, while Galen has been maneuvering the ship towards the planet's atmosphere. One of the Ha'Tak vessel on her way was struck with an overcharged phaser spinal lance cannons fire. The enemy ship was cut in three parts before she could do any serious damage to Dragonstar's regenerative shields. Meanwhile, several of Death Gliders were gunned down by Dragonstar's retractable dual-cannons pulse phaser turrets, while two Al'kesh bombers were destroyed by Dragonstar's quantum torpedoes launched from her rear launchers.*
T'Luminareth: Take us into high orbit Galen!
Galen: Yes mam. (he said as he navigated Dragonstar through the lines of enemy ships and between mines droped by Romulan ship which has been also fighting unidentified enemy vessels)
*It wasn't long before Dragonstar entered planet's high orbit and launched a volley of quantum torpedoes which detonated somewhere above battlezone sending turning even more of enemy fighters and bombers into exploding fire balls. By that action, Dragonstar made a way for her support craft to enter planet's orbit and start blasting enemy forces.*
Sirius: (when he saw one of his Gryphoon fighters in the air chasing the Al'Kesh bomber) Look, those are fighters from Dragonstar. (then he turns towards Jack) We should go now to the Blue Star while they are distracting enemy fighters. Tell the admiral that we cannot wait him much longer. I'm going to start the engine. (enters APC and fires it up)

The Captain: This pod crashed through the window and into my chair just as I dived off of it. Have any idea of what it is?
The First Officer: Not really sir, but the good news is that we have extended the ship using the wreckages of those ships falling from orbit, and she is soon going to fly amazingly.
The Captain: How?
The First Officer: We have cannibalized the abandoned and smouldering transports as well as shot down fighters, we will have less power and it'll be slower but we can fly and have enough room for everyone in a few hours.
The Captain: Why don't we mount some of those odd weapons onto the ship, we can at least make her shoot down more fighters and possibly even bomb the landing zones.
The First Officer: I'll see what the engineers can muster sir. And see if the science department can see what this pod does.
*As the First Officer picks the pod up and walks off the Captain sits down again as the window is replaced by a force field.*
*Kran arrives at the APC and jumps in.*
Kran: Punch it!
OOC: Trying to find a way to get Sobek off the Dragonstar. It may take a minute...

Toechena: Most of the enemy smaller ships have been destroyed.
Lege: the Dragonstar is launching small craft. Looks like they are going down for ground support

*on the ground Jack orders his away team into the APC. Shelana and Cilly have a couple staff weapons with them. At the look Jack gives Shelana.*
Shelana: What? We should study their gear.

Sirius: Extend the shields Mr. Sheppard!
Daniel: Wouldn't that slow us down?
*A bomb from an Al'kesh drops nearby them giving the strong shudder to APC.*
Sirius: We can afford ourselves to be a little slower, but we can't afford ourselves to be destroyed, so extend those shields now.
Daniel: Right away sir. (extends shields around APC)
Scarlett: How much time do we need to get to the yacht?
Lissan: About 10 minutes at this speed.
Jack: Can't we go a little faster?
Sirius: Unfortunately no. This is the top speed.
*Another few bombs and staff blasts hit the ground nearby.*
M'Toui: I think it is the time we respond in proper fashion.
*M'Toui then activates APC's pulse phaser cannon and starts shooting back at enemy fighters and bombers. Just a minute later he shot down one of the Death Gliders which crashed into the hill nearby.*
About 10 minutes later
*Sirius parked the APC in Blue Star's hangar and powered off the engines. Just a few second later they all got out from the vehicle and climbed by ladder to the upper deck of Dragonstar's yacht. Sirius quickly ran towards the pilot seat, while Daniel took systems control seat and M'Toui settled himself in combat seat. As they powered up the yacht systems another few bolts of energy struck the ground nearby and one of them hit the yacht's aft thruster.*
Daniel: Our aft thruster is damaged, sir.
Sirius: It obviously is.
*Sirius was having trouble lifting the yacht up in the air with the damaged thruster, but he eventually managed it. A few moments after ascent one of the Al'Kesh craft started chasing them and unleashed a barrage of fire upon yacht. Her aft shields flickered absorbing most of the energy. M'Toui quickly responded with firing a photon torpedo at Al'Kesh from Blue Star's rear launcher. Being highly maneuverable Al'Kesh avoided the torpedo and continued the chase soon accompanied by four Death Gliders. M'Toui fired several shots from aft phaser banks and soon damaged one of the Death Gliders which couldn't keep up anymore and started crashing down.*
Sirius: Alright, it's time for Defiant maneuver.
*As he said that, Sirius made a full 360 degrees vertical loop by which he positioned Blue Star behind the Al'kesh.*
Sirius: (yells) Now M'Toui!
M'Toui: Qa'pla!
*The moment he said that, M'Toui fired two quantum torpedoes followed by a heavy pulse phaser fire at the Al'Kesh. Both torpedoes and pulse phaser bursts hit the Al'Kesh rear damaging her engines and sending it spiraling through the air towards the ground.*
Daniel: Nice one captain!
Sirius: Thank you Daniel. It is actually one of the tricks you learn at the advanced piloting classes.
Scarlett: Sorry to interrupt your discussion, but I believe we have a serious problem in front of us.
*Everyone looks through the Blue Star's forward windows at the oncoming squadron of dozens of Death Gliders and several Al'Kesh bombers on intercept course with them.*
Sirius: Indeed. (taps his commbadge) Sirius to Dragonstar! Are you still at your previous position?
T'Luminareth: We have moved a little further, but we are able to assist again if you need.
Sirius: Good. Fire several torpedoes at the coordinates I am sending to you. (sends coordinates by his console to Dragonstar's computer)
