This is one underlying issue that Cryptic can't seem to get right no matter how hard they try - and try they do. Every couple of weeks this goes wrong, then they fix it, then it'll go wrong again, then they'll fix it [repeat process]
You'd think, by now, they'd have figured out how not to TRIBBLE it up, but no.
Also, your signature/picture - by the looks of it, should read "all you need is a shock" - doesn't look like the guy was expecting that kiss, his posture appears stiff and his eyes are open! :P

I really don't know what scenario is actually worse.
Them simply ignoring the problems and doing nothing or their desperate attempt to fix things that only results in more broken stuff.

The latter! Its scarier but I bet thats what it is.
Oh and OP, yes you can and I feel you.

One fix that seems to work for many people on most ships is to get everything set up properly then save to a loadout.
When you make a map transition and it all disappears, go to loads, select the saved loadout then go to the ship stations screen and it should all re-appear. Just choosing the loadout isn't always enough, you may need the stations screen step too.
I am thinking of re loading STO after LONGGGGG voyage away....
But as i read more to catch up, i come across more and more Bugs..Broken..Laggg...Game is S£$% Threads (more than normal for any MMO i have / am playing)
Is the game really that bad now? I don't want invest time getting back in to have such a bad experience just to bin it again if you get me..

Did you by any chance see the "DR is the best expansion ever....." sigs around here?
Sums up pretty much.
Currently the technical issues STO has are at a new low, that's a fact. It is still fun to play, well sometimes if it works properly, but don't open your wallet for cryptic.
I know that they have to earn money to make a living but the key term here is EARN.

Well you know thats something that everybody has to decide for himself.
B4 DR I was a happy customer of STO for about 2,5 years. Now Im an unhappy one because of a lot of changes to game I dislike and most of all recent quality issues (which are incredibly bad).
Yet Im still around cuz my in game friends and especially fleet mates back me up and ensure fun in the stuff I do most which is PvE.
Aside from some bad changes and depending on how long you have been gone cryptic also managed to integrate numerous improvements to the game.
My fair suggestion is give it a shot! Look around, see what you have missed and dont be overwhelmed by what you see. A lot was meant as long term progression opportunities which I, only speaking for me, begin to like. If you need a Tier 5 fleet with a lot of easy guys to be around with hit me up. I know em for close to 3 years and they are STO for me not PWEs publishing policy.

Getting fed up with having to battle the tray as well as watch whats going on in STF's at the same time.......and work with other players who are trying to do the same as me. I give serious credit to you all for trying your best with this TRIBBLE.
Think it's safe to say that grinding has now taken a back seat due to this damn tray bug.
Yeah, and it's so hard to remember what I did last time because I was a long time ago. My life doesn't permit me time to play as much as I used to but the time I do end up playing I have to spend "fixing" stuff! It's very annoying. Almost to the point where I feel it's not worth logging on anymore at all. BLAH!

This is the one that gets me. I honestly think that the game is so broken they really can't fix it anymore. They can solve an issue temporarily, but it always comes back when something else is added. Has anyone else noticed that everything from LOR and after has been failing? Either crashes, systems not working, or full on outages? Granted, being "new" there are bound to be bugs, but this is different, and it's steadily getting worse. Longer maintenance times, issues still there after maintenance, more things not working or breaking the game. I still can't use my headphones or anti-aliasing due to it, and there is still UI lag and various other ingame issues.
I really don't think they can fix this game. All they can do is patch the hole and bail as best as they can for the time being.

It's just really disappointing, because I love the game and I love Star Trek so it's hard to want to keep coming back when it's getting worse and worse.

The game's in a sad state right now. No doubts about that
It makes me very sad TBH and a little bit worried.
