Cannot claim more than one Kaboli ship per character.

Since they have given us the discount on ships, I have been claiming more than one of the ships from the events on each character. However, with the new Kaboli ship, I cannot do that. Was this a bug, or did they do this to try to push players to buy more ship slots?
After DR, I don't play much, but when I do, I like to be able to switch between different ships to keep the game from getting too boring. For this reason, I dismiss a lot of ships, and reclaim them again later. I had planned on doing this with the new Kaboli ship also. I hope this is just a bug that gets fixed.
