Roosterteeth reports Monty's passing from a coma a week ago...

Sad time for fans of the show, the team is still together, so there might still be a third season...

    Actual thread I started.

    And my posting of his passing.

    I do hope RT does continue RWBY for a couple of Volumes at least. Enough to get most, if not all, the threads started through Volume 2 satisfactory finished. There's a lot of cool world-building with RWBY, it would be a shame to see it not continue.

    I would imagine it would be discussed with his next of kin first, but even though I know very little of him or his work, the fact that creative works were called for in lieu of gifts or flowers makes me wonder if perhaps arrangements *will* be made for his work to continue to at least some degree. His family should have the final word on that, of course, but it is a though that crossed my mind.
