Tomorrow (tuesday the 10th) star trek renegades presents their pilot to CBS. So, wish them luck cross your fingers, tails tentacles and other appendages. Call in any favors with the mob and send bribes. Whatever works for you.

Also, no matter how it turns out with CBS, cheers to Tim Russ and his team for making it happen.

Hopefully since last year they have changed their tune on being interested in making a new Trek series. I remember last year there were so many people claiming they were in talks about it but then CBS said none of it was true and weren't interested in making a new trek series.

So hopefully being able to present it to them is good news in itself.

That was all in response to the rumor that Netflix had worked out a deal with CBS, and a new series (often Season 5 of ENT) was actually in production. CBS' statement was to the effect that nobody had told them anything about this, and Netflix hadn't even been in touch with them.

I certainly prefer the premise of Renegades to Captain Worf - no offense, Mr. Dorn, but the show needs a premise beyond "this well-liked character is now in charge of a starship".
