Kobali Deflector

Today the Kobali deflector has become available to win upon replay of "Dust to Dust" mission.

Anybody using this deflector already... perhaps even upgraded it to EPIC already? How's it feel?

    Not sure a deflector feels like much of anything

    Its got solid tanking stats as far as I can tell. Good for a character that doesn't have a decent deflector yet. Beyond that the set bonus' s will be most telling but we cant get those yet.

    It's excellent for active tanking/healing.. a perfect fit for my new support character.

    If I had to make an analogy, it's looking like the Kobali set will be the hull-tanking counterpart to the shield-tanking Dyson set. I won't have an idea how it stacks up to the Assimilated set until the whole thing is released.

    Given the native hull-tankiness of the Samsar.. I might end up going with the Dyson to more evenly balance it out(The Kobali Core click-power is really awesome on a healer/tank though).


    The Deflector does not appear to have any visuals, so it might be like the Solanae set and not have engine/shield visuals either.
