Astika Battlecruiser is fantastic!

I picked up the Vaadwaur Lobi store ship for my Reman and I love it! I get to rock out my Space Battleship Yamato fantasies. I have only got to Tier 1 mastery and have a ways to go to unlock the trait, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I will return to it after grinding out the trait from the Kobali Curiser and maxing out the mastery of the Fleet T'Varo T5-U.

Some minor suggestions I have are mostly cosmetic. I would like more customization options for the ship. The tower is an obvious area as the Kobali ship allows the player to choose. Why not add the options for the Kobali Cruiser's tower to the Vaadwaur Astika, and likewise add the Vaadwaur tower options to the Kobali Samsar Cruiser. Also, I would like to have the Samar's forward "pincers" added as an option to the Astika.

    the trait alone seems insanely OP.
    While i do like the visual asthetics i think it kinda detracts from the game to see any player character in an alien ship.

    Starfleet/KDF/RR do not repurpose enemy vessels for the most part but rather adapt the technology for their own use. (although the romulans and the klingons did have an exchange somewhere in ST history: klingons got cloaks and romulans got k'tinga battlecruisers)

    Do what I did and test it out on the Tribble server.

    I was going to sell mine, but after I tested it I was like "Oh heavens NO!" So glad I held out on the Lobi for this puppy. Almost wish it had at least one hanger bay though, the thing DOES look like a hybrid carrier/heavy cruiser.

    Aye, what's so 'Oh heavens NO!" about it? :rolleyes: Got plenty of ships, including lockbox ships, so I'm just curious what that would be ;)

    Look forward to getting mine!!.
    I was lucky enough to get the assault escort and, now want this ship to complete my vaadwaur fleet.

    I will make the observation that the Vaadwaur bridge looks quite a bit like a Klingon Bridge. Was that intentional? Either way, with some slight modifications, I would like to see that bridge added to the KDF line-up of bridge options.

    damn this ship really is fantastic!! nice stats, 5/3 weapons, great boff and console layouts. The trait is also really "supportive" :rolleyes:
