Monty Oum passed away yesterday afternoon after a severe allergic reaction to a simple medical procedure put him in a coma.

He will be sorely missed.

Hadn't seen his newer stuff, but I know he did Dead Fantasy and Haloid. Cool stuff.

The most appropriate response I can think of: Son of a b***h!
"Great War! / And I cannot take more! / Great tour! / I keep on marching on / I play the great score / There will be no encore / Great War! / The War to End All Wars"

I was sad to hear this, I wasn't a fan of RWBY, but I recognized his talent.

    damn, that's a shame.

more dammit, that means the next season of Red Vs. Blue will be delayed. (Mr. Oum was one of the driving forces behind their improved CGI, and had a big hand in a lot of their production work and post-production.)

AFAIK, Monty has not worked that much on RvB since he started RWBY. So it probably won't be delayed.

If you noticed, the seasons of RvB after RWBY started had less CG.
