I definitely vote for reverse global buff to npc health.
I also want the enemies to start using more skills and have better ship setups. I don't have a damage sponge for a target I want to find enemies speced as drain boats, exotic particle boats, and all kinds of other builds.
I want to have players actually think about some of the enemies and not just go in guns blazing. I want there to be a reason to have tanks, crowd control etc. I also want ships that have given up all defenses to get ripped apart when not supported by others.
Considering the high DPS on auto weapons was unintentional a scale back on npc health is the best we can hope for.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
C'mon now, the autorifle thing was a hugely obvious bug, one ground weapon that was like half-again as good as anything else. Thats not a balance thing, thats a bug and you know it.
but the npc buffs really destroyed the ground missions for me
My ground character went from 260 to 140 with the jem hadar rifle. It's nearly 100%
Yes, it was a bug. I would not hold my breath waiting for any amelioration.

I used my phaser auto during some Kobali ground action. I couldn't really tell the difference. It ripped into the Vaadwaur like usual. Until I got into one of their mini bases. Then I pulled out my Borg Arm. And really dropped them.

One of two things needs to happen. Reverse the Auto Rifle Nerf or Reverse the global buff to NPC health.
Nope. Just nope.
The Full Auto Rifle was a crutch for those that can Zephram Cochrane properly. The Health buff made the boss an actual boss in BHE, not a 10s pin cushion.
Get over it and get some skill. Full Auto's still have some of the best DPS, run a gun that's aimed at Kinetic damage for BHE and you'll be laughing, well maybe not laughing but at least you'll die less.
The fact that it was a bug in the player's favour may explain the rapid fixing but it was a bug. It's not worth starting a rage thread about.
Not entirely sure 2 months is a rapid fix

"You don't have to do something again and again and again repetitive that doesn't have much challange, that's just a general good gameplay thing."
HAHAHAHA " run a gun that's aimed at Kinetic damage " for bhe - this right here is why you don't know the first thing about ground combat. get some skill yourself. there is no reason for mobs to take more than 2 seconds to kill, anything more is a huge waste of time for same content. I get that some people are challenged by grinding same things but longer because time wasted to them is skill.
Err wtf are you on about? Stay off the drugs mate, I've run BHE before and after the nerf's without much trouble at all. The people I run it with were all using either the Shotgun or a decent CrtDx3/4 gun. The bugs have no Shield so a gun that has buff's for kinetic damage is just a no brainer...

Actually this bugfix/nerf/whatever also really pisses me off. Sure the auto rifle thingies were overpowered, but now my #+~*! Omega Force Autocarbine is seriously underpowered because it's missing the UR AND the Epic modifiers. Good job cryptic. How about you fix the damn Omega Force set next time instead of making stuff weaker all the time, including things that are broken weak already anyway?
Either re-adjust the NPC boss health or give ground weapons the same XII->XIV scaling that space weapons receive. The former would be preferable to me but the latter would accomplish the same thing.

It's pretty much this hard to keep just one timeline intact. ♪

Full auto rifles doing double the DPS of other weapons? A common Mk II full auto rifle out-DPSing my Mk XII split beam rifle? It was an obvious bug.

Not surprising considering this is the community that got angry when Cryptic fixed the obviously broken and over-rewarding Japori System patrol.
