It looks like the Bajor particles are spawning in the mission "Crack in the Mirror", so instead of being the social zone Bajor System, it's the mission-instance Bajor System. Same name for quite different instances.
I ran the mission, saw the Red Omega particles floating around and was able to collect the traces; however, since I didn't have Bajor on my daily, I don't know for sure that it would complete the daily.

I can confirm that the omega particle in the "Crack in the Mirror" Bajor space map completes the Bajor Space part of the daily omega molecule mission.

Nice. I'll be able to confirm for myself later, ironically enough, on the toon that I used to confirm the presence of the particles earlier; I love this sort of thing :P
Same issue, no particles spawning. Instance changing didn't help, scanning particles on the ground at Bajor didn't help... dropping the mission and reclaiming it keeps having me scan the particle at Bajor Space so now I'm stuck and can't earn anymore Qmendations... lame
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
Having to have the mission available is NOT a good way to have this set up. I leveled so fast during a bonus XP event a while back, that I hit 50 long before I even got close to doing the Cardassian missions line. So, that mission is not even available to me. Not yet. By the tme I get that mission and can collect from within the mission, (with my limited time to play after work), it will be too late.
Cryptic needs to change this if it is in fact working as intended. It's not fair to all those who A. have limited time and thus cannot race through the missions to get the one where they are available, and B: to have it set up in such a confusing manner. (Where else do you NEED to be able to do a certain mission to access the omegas? None so far.) And C: have a anniversary event that is supposed to be for everyone, yet has some sort of "gating" mechanic to it.
Not nice Cryptic. Bad Cryptic!!! No cookie for you!

at the bottom of the missions, you have a bottom called "Skip"... If you're 50 like you claim, you should be able to skip to that mission. Please check your mission journal, before you go and prove your noobness
Makes sense there would be no Omega Particles at Bajor... the Prophets know of how dangerous they can be and are moving it out of harm's way or something
