Problem getting to Defera

Greetings,

A fleet mate of mine picked up the Q daily and one of the places he had to go was Defera system. He hasn't progressed that far in the story so he can't access tjhat system.

Dropping the misison and reaquring from Q gives the same three missions, including Defera.

Suggestions as to how to get around this?

    Skip missions in the journal until he can get there?
    If you've come to the forums to complain about the AFK system, it's known to be bugged at the moment.
