Hi Smirk/Trendy, just a open question regarding where you get and take player feedback from.
If you believe and read the forums, then it isn't from here or from the Tribble test server.
I don't believe you receive feedback from the facebook page either.
Just so we can understand when there are a lot of posts popping up around the forums in resistance and protest to certain changes within the game, What metric does the Dev team use to grasp the player base's response and reaction to it.
Help us understand and help instill some trust back into you're customers that our concerns around what can be perceived as negative changes to game have a proper feedback channel and that we do have a voice to share our concerns with the Dev team. So we can all work together to better create a game we all want to play and enjoy.
What channel should be using give feedback where it might be seen or heard.

Secondary deflectors are added = 20 posters rage-posting because they couldn't understand the text saying that ships would get an empty deflector slot and they could get a free deflector from the ship gear vendor.
Free pre-anniversary: claims that people who bought an item 3 years ago should get a refund since Cryptic decided to give it away for one day only. Whines that the free stuff was "underwhelming"
It goes on and on.
There are plenty of real bugs, like Incite Chaos infecting your own team. But they are being drowned in a sea of rage, trolling, entitlement and "best expansion ever" sig-pics.
Threats to rage-quit because issue X hasn't been fixed yet.
Trolling threads like the one claiming that training a boff will cost 16,000 dil.
I for one would love to know how the devs gauge player reactions and where they get their feedback from.
