The one day I logged in I got one of these for a fleet mate since I have no use for lobi or anything for that matter anymore lol. Kind of sad that I got this for someone and yet validates my point of view on how costumes work in this game.

Custom/Specific Vaadwaur pants and boots were never made. We just used other pants and boots we already had for the critter group. Duplicating a pair of pants and giving them the same palette for players isn't a bad idea.

Adding Vaadwaur Pants (and Boots) would be great, even if they are duplicates with a special/dedicated pallette.

I really liked the Vaadwaur uniform set. So much so, I made two Vaadwaur costumes for my main. I couldn't resist making a red one that happened to look like a certain galaxy guardian. For this I thought the Panels and Pockets pants seemed to fit the part.

The second I tried to be more "official" and duplicate the center character in this photo, but wearing the full faceplate/helmet of the soldier on the far right. For this I used the Jupiter 04 pants.

For boots on both costumes, Section 31 worked best for me.

You can find/contact me in game as @PatricianVetinari. Playing STO since Feb 2010.

Go to 'advanced' and the 'Head' tap, the first dropdown you should see is 'Head type', by default it's usually "Humanoid", set it to "Helmets and Hoods" and then if your Vaadwaur helmet and mask isn't automatically selected, there should be another dropdown furhter down that will allow you to do so manually.

    *Sighs*

Well, looks like the Server Tribbles (Ploygeminus grex Server) are REALLY hungry - this is the second case of them eating the headwear from a Lobi Store costume that I know of... the first was the Hirogen helmet on my RR-KDF 'Hirogen' Alien... not counting the missing belts and such people have mentioned from Fleet uniforms and the like (Ody Excursion Belt)...

I went with the panels and pockets, too, plus since I'm using it on a ROM Alien, I used the Romulan Republic dress boots just for something different.

nicely done. Good choice on the boots. Gives it a bit more of a sci-fi look that the show didn't have.

More than one person has told me that I inadvertently created a Cardassian Jedi Sentinel with my Vaadwaur outfit variant...

(Which is fine by me. I didn't want my Cardassian looking Space TRIBBLE. Instead, I think we found out one way Cardassians dress when they go LARPing on the holodeck!)

However, on my Kobali BOFF, I WOULD like the proper boots and pants.
