Ok they are releasing all of these new ships which is great and i love new ships but i know as a collector there is just not enough room to maintain the one time claim ships. I have maybe two slots left and yes i have gotten everything from the zen store so no i can not buy more slots and i know several more people who are in the same situation.
Something must be done to allow us to either reclaim the ships once they are claimed on a character or to allow single slot increases that come with each ship. or raise the limit and allow us to purchase more slots.
It is unfair to bring out these new ships and not give us the space needed to claim them.
And no new characters are not an option.
We need more ship slots or all ships need to be reclaimable with out losing our masteries

More ship slots is the ideal answer. Honestly, I'm not sure why the limit isn't arbitrarily huge, like max of 400 slots or something.

It's due to how character data is designed/sent in the game engine. When a character changes maps/instances, the instance server has to load the character data, including all of their ships and equipment loadouts.
I believe that as time as gone on they have increased the limit as they have been able to eke out performance improvements, but in general, that's the reason why we now have ship slot limits.

That shouldn't surprise me. *sigh* I guess it's too hard to go back and separate out that data so its only available when relevant, like at a ship selector or they'd have done it already.
Such and this making us pay to train bridge officer and taking away the skills we already had them trained in.
For the eleventy-billionth time in the last 24 hours, your skills are still there. Just gotta learn the new system and switch them back from the original skills you wiped. As for paying dil to train skills, that is kind of a pisser, even tho we always had to pay to use the NPC trainer. I wish you could have new BOffs just give you a 'manual' for one of their skills and then move on.

Thanks for that tidbit.
it is something needed that i know alot of players want but yet they keep changing other things that no one is asking for.

Just leave everything the way it was and fix the bugs and slowly add stuff the players are actually asking for.
