What Duty Officers to use?

As explained in the title I need advice on what duty officers to use with my Fahet Warbird as I have little experience with the Duty officer system

My current build only has MkXII Very rare Equipment but I intend to upgrade it.
http://www.stoacademy.com/tools/skillplanner/?build=fahetromulanplasma_0

I would be grateful for some suggestions and feel free to critique my current build.

    Some suggestions:

deflector officers and a gravimetric scientist to boost your gravity well (reduced cool down and chance to spawn more gravity wells)

maintenance officer to reduce cool down on engineering team

conn officer to reduce cool down on tac team

damage control officer to reduce cool down on EP2W

shield distribution officer to heal shields when using brace for impact

You did not really upgrade everything to epic I hope :D

No I didn't upgrade everything to Epic.
I will eventually upgrade it but for now I am content with my MK XII Very rares.

Use 2 Emergency Power to 'X' abilities, usually weapons and shields on most builds. Grab 2 or 3 very rare (purple) Damage Control Engineers. Use a very rare Gravimetric Scientist, aftershock variant, to create extra gravity wells. 2 or 3 very rare Projectile Weapon Officers for torp cooldown.

Your boff stations are kind of a mess, too many single abilities with no skills at global. Double up on stuff, you'll be more successful. Surgical strikes is better than rapid fire right now, especially as a Romulan.

Focus your build and double up on powers.

Filling out the full skillplanner would help people to see the full picture (skill spec, traits, etc).

I see I have produced a full version on the build planner here http://skillplanner.stoacademy.com/?build=fahetupdated_0

And you will have to excuse my knowledge of Intel powers it is quite limited.

Skill spec isn't the worst I've ever seen, so a respec isn't necessary, but it would improve things a little. Traits are fine as well.

Buy the Valdore (1k Zen ship from the C-Store), get the console, put it where you currently have the plasma lance. Again, not necessary, but you'll be happy you got it.

The boff/doff layout I proposed is just an idea. It's not the best, but it'll work with the gear you have.

If you have any suggestions for my skill tree I have multiple respec tokens left so I have no trouble in altering my skills if you believe that would be best.

As for the Bridge officer skills are you certain 2 copies of Override subsystem safeties is necessary?
Is not the plasmonic leech capable of maintaining power levels? is it worth sacrificing tactical team?

On my phone, so the skillplanner is not something I can use at the moment. I'll post later with a skill spec. But generally, there are only a couple skills I ever spend 9 on, the rest get 6 due to diminishing returns. Even then, going only to 6 in any skill is still a reasonable way to go.

Two copies of OSS give you maximum uptime on all systems being over capped. This can give you a much needed boost to the power of your Grav Well, or can overcap your guns. More power is better.

For PvE, Tactical Team is pretty unnecessary. If you have the spacebar macro, which redistributes your shields, the main benefit of TT becomes redundant (though TT is faster). If you don't already use it or have something better, you can find the Hilbert Spacebar keybind here, just scroll down the page..

EDIT: Here's a similar, but revamped skill tree. You can get more out of a skill tree by doing the 3/6 rule.

Wow that's some good stuff I'll have to look into that. I've only been playing a month and have been finding Manually keeping all my skills going quite tedious. Do you think you could spare some time to "coach" me a little bit on rotations and such?

If you want I'll be in game for the next couple hours, just mail or PM Preston@fatman592.

Though, there are much better teachers out there.
