Quick STO Model Question

So I play lots of Minecraft/Space Engineers/ Starmade, and I see amazing Star Trek Ships that started out as Voxel. I asked one of the authors where they got the model and he said he pulled it out of STO. Before I got a chance to ask him how he went offline and I haven't seen him since. So I must ask, does anyone know how to pull a ships model from ingame?

    Discussion on how to extract files from the game client is not allowed.
