My Commander Science and Commander Tactical abilities are unavailable while flying the Dyson Science Destroyer. The Stations screen displays them properly but the power list and bridge crew displays do not. As a result I have no way to use the powers or slot them in my tray. The problem persists both in and out of tactical mode and in normal space and sector space.
I am having this exact same problem right now 1/30/2015 on the live server. I had the dyson science ship project slotted still from last years anniversary on a rom/fed and a klingon.
Upon finishing the projects i noticed i cannot use the commander station on BOTH tact and sci mode. I tried buying a fresh boff and training him but it didnt work, for instance i cannot use gravity well 3 even though my boff is trained in it
also theres 5 slots total on the commander and tactical when a command boff slot is only 4. The command slot and mystery slot are blank.
This is a confirmed known issue. A fleet mate of mine told me its mostly happening to those that got the dyson destroyer today. I told him my dyson destroyer has been working no problem until yesterdays patch. I had the free one from last years anniversary event and the c-store 3 pack which I have been using for a year. Yesterday, the cmdr slot on the sci(Normal mode) and cmdr slot on the tac (Tac mode)officers stopped working.
I'm having the exact same problem with my cmdr slot. No Gravity well and my tactiacal extra slot is available in science mode. all screwed up.
Instead of Commander Science skill, the game shows 2 empty skill slots (in addition to 3 filled slots),
when i switch to tactical mode,
i got 2 empty Commander Tactical skill slots instead (still in addition to 3 filled slots).
Too bad - the Dyson Science Destroyer was very good, versatile ship.
Until it's fixed, the ship is useless for me :mad:
It was the Federation version from Lobi store.
I checked the Klingon version from anniversary event (it was not free, we payed for it with work :P ) on Holodeck - and the BOFF skills are mixed too.... In science mode i got acces Lieutenant Commander Tactical and Commander Science powers,
but in Tactical i got acces still to Lieutenant Commander Tactical and Commander Science powers - no change :mad:

I have this problem too, on a rom DSD, the free version.
A fleet mate checked out his DSD and was fine, I think he was on a fed.

It was working fine until the anniversary patch, then my boffs got "unseated" and when I put them back I could not select the commander abilities.
