You are asking us how to do better? You say we behave hurtful?
We, the players, tested on redshirt, we tested on tribble. We reported bugs and made suggestion how to improve and balance new stuff. We always said what we'd like to see in this game...
...but you simply NEVER listened!
This game has a long history of missed opportunities. It's always been very clear what the players wanted but instead of serving these wishes, you simply did what you wanted.
I do understand any Dev saying: "I'd like to come up with my own ideas and do what I want." But, however, you often promised to listen and do what the players want.
It's about time you make a dissision:
Do you want to do whatever you like to do OR do you want to start listening to the players?
Either way, we, your loyal customers, deserve a clear statement!
Making promises (like a PvP update), but never doing what you promised is even more hurtful than any signature I've seen so far - it's cruel!
right away? how about 4 years is that long enough for ya
entire mmo's can be developed in 4 years
some bugs are not fixable or get fixed and break 2 weeks later because they didnt have the true cause.
They can only fix bugs they can replicate reliably. As games or any software gets older and patched and patched and patched the likelyhood of bugs goes up exponentially.

yes and cryptic call that working as intended
even the bugs they can fix they don't example the cloaking bug took the 3 years of trying to say it's working as intended before they realized we had text of Sthal admitting they broke it and then it turned into "oh it's too time consuming"
I say we declare a global taco Tuesday and everyone goes out to their favorite taqueria and not make any more threads aimed at tacofangs for at least a week.
Bonus points if someone manages to get tacos delivered to the cryptic office.

So you wanted cryptic to spend all that time fixing the cloaking bug?
Ok.
But I think you know deep down that you would have rathered them push out content.

That might actually be pretty damn funny. Unfortunately that kind of prank costs real-world money.

I don't think you know how complex an mmo is.
Just because you see a bug doesn't mean it can be fixed right away
I've said it once and I'll say it again for the entire class. You do not need to be an expert in anything when encountering a bad deal and recognizing how terrible it is.
Apparently people are stupid today because I've seen it repeated from game to game now that people keep supporting terrible systems that actually costs them enormous amounts of money to do the simplest things in these games. Eventually however as time goes on, people will either realize what's happening or they'll figure it out after they spend a certain amount and then stop themselves if they have any sense at all and realize hey, this game is costing entirely too much to play. Hopefully eventually people realize what's going on and just stop paying.
If not, that just let's us know how ignorant our neighbors are at this point because it's getting worse and worse the more these games come up with these costly pay to progress systems.
Posters here are like Piranhas, they swarm any word dropped from a dev and make 3 million threads about any possible random thought. Stop it !:P:D

Man you should have seen the things I have supported I my career as a programmer.
40 year old tax compliant software for governments that is 80% of their income written in languages that haven't been taught in a generation.
"Terrible systems"? Lol. Say that while looking at the abyss of code.

I work in a government office with someone who has been here for over 30 years. We have two programs that are the core of everything we do daily and she remembers people complaining about how old, buggy, and obsolete they were back when she received her new hire orientation in the '80s. No one here knows how old they actually are because we don't have records going back that far. On the plus side, one of them is supposed to be replaced in 2017.
In 2013 I also helped support another agency on their first database upgrade in more than a decade. They replaced a custom database written in Delphi with a " brand new" install of oracle 6, using a license another team had never used, but had paid for.
In both cases there are people complaining about the upgrades because the old system "still works."

Me? It isn't all about me. I am not a sociopath.
I realize that if cryptic fixes something it may break 10 things so they shouldn't fix it.
Man the errors I still get in my 5 year old laptop
does your 5 y/o laptop have a paid team of employees working full time on it?
ah but neither does cryptic

Or any organization for that matter.
Fear of the new system that's buggy, when you're used to working around the 'old bugs and features' is always a pain.
hey naked chicken...does that mean 5 years is what it takes a bug in any MMO? Put some clothes on that chicken please...getting me hungry :P
