Ok, I like to post builds on StoBuilds, STO Acedemy is pretty, but the details you can add to the STOBUILDS template is awesome.

Still need to upgrade weapons to MK XIV, but that's my orions build for the Sarr Theln. And thanks to Mastajdog and Jena for always sharing DPS knowledge with the rest of us. It was a 22-26k build before what I learned yesterday thanks to them, now it's a 26-30k build.

While STO Academy doesn't have all the features, I can at least look at the weapons layout, gear and BOff abilities at a glance. What are 3 4 and 5 under the 'Component', stuff you haven't filled in or do those numbers signify something in specific?

Those Component numbers are nothing.

Like if a ship has 3 Engineer Console spots, that template is general for everything. So for a ship you post that only has 3 it would look like this:

Plasmonic Leech
Nuetronium +turn
Assimilated Module
4
5

4 and 5 are spots I would've filled in if I was say posting a Avenger build since it has 5 Engineer console slots. So empty numbers in the template are spots that don't exist on that ship.

Doing 35K in this now. Seems 30-33k in a bad pug. But, Otherwise 34-35k.
Topped my Fed Tac's record for DPS. With a Klingon Engineer! lol

I've parsed 4 of my characters, post-DR. 2 fed engi's, a romulan engi, and a KDF Tac. Of those, the 2 fed's and the KDF don't sum to the rom engi... and the KDF tac's the lowest. Probably an indicator of the gear I have on those engi's and especially the tac, and my lack of experience playing tac's or squishy ships at all.
